Benzos Is it normal to feel very slight withdrawals after only 2-3 days of benzo use?

I don't know if I'm just extremely sensitive to it or what, but occasionally I find myself to be more depressed and just overall feeling down with not as much interest in doing anything, despite being bored, a very subtle derealization, and also some relatively minor anxiety in addition to the expected and actual insomnia that also occurs both psychologically and physically. Most sources I've seen say that withdrawal or daytime related withdrawal of short-acting benzos or Z drugs even when still taken nightly takes at least a few weeks to develop, at which point it's still considered to be minor. Like I said, symptoms are very subtle but definitely noticeable if I'm not doing anything that occupies me enough to not be introspective.

Often I only notice it because I feel that way, briefly wonder why I feel just slightly off somehow, then realize that it's nearly EXACTLY the time at which the last vestiges of a certain hypnotic drug would have worn off after using them for the past few days.

Even with just Clonidine, I've been taking it for about a month, with dosages of only 0.2-0.3 mg twice a day and I now feel definitely "off" today, and it happens to be the first day that I haven't used it the night before or this morning. I also ran out of Zopiclone at the same time - I took relatively high doses of it but only on Wednesday and Thursday.

Is this possible, or am I over-thinking it? It's hard to attribute it to a type of placebo affect though when I notice the depressive symptoms BEFORE realizing I haven't taken the drug that day or most to all of the previous day. It's not like I feel full-blown benzo withdrawal by any means; even calling ti withdrawal would probably be an exaggeration to anyone who has experienced true benzo withdrawal. Still, it's definitely there.

Well I'm on methadone as well as zopiclone and have recently been prescribed clonidine, so it can be hard to actually know how I normally feel these days. That said, assuming I've been taking my medication as directed for the past couple of days and haven't done anything else with my meds that would be considered experimental, I suppose I feel "normal" in the sense of a methadone-induced normalcy after a long battle with opiate addiction - tending toward being slightly high several hours after taking my dose, and low with mild withdrawal beginning to appear at the 18-20 mark afterwards.

There's also sometimes some depression ranging from mild to fairly bad albeit temporary, but I think that this is more likely due to my situation of being unemployed and in massive debt and basically lying around all day rather than the effect of the drugs. I don't enjoy being in this position by any means, but it's very hard to get a job here, and the ones that ARE available are infrequent, minimum wage and entry level food service or retail. It's bad. I have nearly ten years of university and have a BSc in biology, yet can't do much but sit on my ass watching cartoons all day.
