i share your view jib. 2 years ago I'd be bat shit and be looking to spend my good money on extra weed for one day that's no different to every other friday and saturday for me.

I was just asking cuz most people seem to view it as a holiday lol.

Im just gonna go home with a sac and get high alone. haven't done it in a while.

To be fair, though, when I say drunk I don't mean wasted. Typing well, head's just got that spinning feel to it. And with that....

I'm about to smoke a bowl that's about 1/3rd hash. Fuck my plans.

Ever since I started using marijuana again (I was forced to stop for a few years up untill about 6 months ago when I started using it for depression/anxiety) I've found my desire and liking for alcohol has become increasingly diminished. Unfortunately this goes doubly for beer which I used to LOVE.
Contradicting enough though is that I've also found my preffered liquor to be baccardi 151 O.o weird eh?
I like the taste of it (?!) and the fact that I need so little to get tipsy. It's very easy to accidentally drink too much of it though
 
I'm just a sucker for altered states. Cheap beer, yeah? Miller High Life is my shit.

$20 goes a long way when you're livin' the High Life.




I haven't had liquor in 2 and a half years now. Last time was at my brother's wedding. Tree, beer, champagne, wine, and then the last thing I remember is a plastic cup full of whiskey at the end of the night.

Woke up in one of my new sister-in-law's hotel bathroom in about 2in of water (on the floor, not in the tub) jussssssssst about butt-ass naked with my clothes all around me.




No memories after that whiskey.



Whiskey..... never again.




[EDIT: That was the only night I ever enjoyed asparagus, though, swear to God. That shit was delicious with my chicken.]

I just picked up 8-10G of what this guy calls "pink kush".. He proclaimed that it's the best he's ever had
Got about .2 in my vape bowl right now, lets just see about this.

I'm sitting on some super mediocre tangerine dream. It's fucking killing me, dude, hairy as fuck with barely any crystals. I'm netting like .06g kief per gram with this bullshit, and it doesn't even smoke that well. Worth the price, I guess, but nothing memorable.




"fuck shots, I hope the weed'll outweigh these drinks" just doesn't apply to this sample. :X
 
Got some shit weed here too, waiting for more fresh criss cross tomorrow. It still works if I put a gram in my vaporiser & all the twiggy/leafy/powdery/already vaped bits in a hot chocolate. It doesn't get me stupid high, but it has a nice anti-inflammatory effect, fixed my bad back again without needing any proper drugs.

Collected a nice little bit of kief in my new grinder, but I'm saving that. Trying to save it up for another two weeks until my birthday.

I'm used to getting like 3g-4g kief from every half ounce, though. It's like there's something wrong with this weed or somethin', lol.
 
I'm not shaking for kief, it's just the bits that fall off in my grinder through the screen. I only grind it for one out of my 3 vaporizers too, the others take big chunks of bud. It's totally covered the bottom of my 60mm grinder now, so I've maybe got half a gram, there's some green in it too, but it'll still be OK. I think if you're getting 3-4g per half ounce then you're shaking it too hard, there wont be much left on the bud & you'll be getting some green in your hash.

Just had a thought, maybe my friend has a bit of criss cross bubble hash, or needs some help making some, I'd better hassle him tomorrow & get some decent stuff in.

Is it just like all orange hairs? Like kind of just tufts? I used to get that a lot in MD.. "Beasters". Maybe you know what I mean, but they were always very orange and very hairy, but not that crystalline on the outside.


Been a fun 420 so far for me! Got a little work done and drove done to DTLA for the Elbo show. Some AMAZING pieces. More than I'll probably ever spend a piece (2k I can consider, 6k a little less...), but incredible workmanship. Really brings back my childhood though, all those dinosaurs...

Now I've got flower and oil, time to get extra special stoned..

Try some Wray & Nephew rum, that's amazing stuff.

You could try better beer too, maybe you're noticing the flavours more when you're stoned & not just drinking to get drunk. Get some real ale.

Elbo does some fucking crazy work on the torch, watching him blow glass live was probably an incredible experience if he was there doing a demo. At my local glass shop we had two local guys set up outside doing some live glassblowing, and had a huge catered free meal inside whether you bought glass or not. Good times with good folks that's what it's all about.

Here's the blue diesel I'm smoking on now (Blue Dream x NYC Diesel) tastes like straight gas from the diesel

Ive tried many different kinds of beers since I started disliking it. It just doesn't seem to do it for me any more. I used to finish off a 24 pack in a week, now I have a hard time going through a single tall can in a given night.. Its kinda weird
 
Critical Mass is pretty good weed, been working on an eighth of it that I got yesterday. Has a great flavor and a nice high.

I forgot to mention, I've tried that stuff before... NASTY STUFF.. If it's the same one, I'm pretty sure it is.
It was 67% and tasted like they distilled it in an ashtray. It was aweful
 
I think it's 63.5%, Jamaican white rum, it's lovely. Had to talk myself out of buying a bottle. Got a lot of flavour for a white rum, didn't get any hints of ashtray in mine, was more like fresh sugar cane - with a hard alcohol burn.
