SNOO V8 - In the bathroom smashing glasses

no my problems started with my second batch which i was taking as told for once thats when the problems started

like you said yes the work wonders at first just turned nasty on me really quickly

and cheers i know what else would you expect on my past recklessness but for once i did it right and still ended up regretting my past substance abuse
 
Going t'pub to discover that there's a Heineken rep there who's teaching all of the staff to pour a 'Star Pint', or something to that effect.

Plenty of free half-pints =D

Yeah I know what you mean, I remember being in the heineken brewery in a'dam and all the pints were poured so the head started level with the horizonal part of the red star on the glass, you don't actually get a pint lol

EDIT: Other recent snoo was my bed arriving a few days ago - have slept in it last few nights and am sleeping soooooooooooo much better. First actual bed I've had since my early 20s at least. Should do my back a bit of good - definitely seems to be doing my sleeping some good.

And of course ongoing snoo is still an ongoing snoo which is a snoo in and of itself <3

My (MEGA)snoo is seeing my lovely better half in a few days time, feels like a lifetime since we were last together so gunna make the most of this time we have <3

Not a million miles away in many respects actually :D

I've slept mostly on mattresses on the floor with a smattering of sofa since the last prolonged period of use of an actual bed which ended when I was around 20ish. Aside from the occasional night staying over at somebody else's place I've not slept in a proper bed since. Never actually slept in a bus shelter (although did take a leisurely wank in one overnight once whilst walking home in the pissing rain - was a 15 mile walk and needed to take the chill from my bones is my excuse... and I'm sticking to it :p) but was homeless for mercifully brief (albeit unmercifully cold as it was winter) periods in my younger years. One thing about going without so much of what most would consider basic essentials is that when you finally do get them you don't half appreciate it. Bed <3

Bloody hell. What size of bed have you obtained?

And how many glasses have you smashed so far, when you've forgotten that there's about a 2 foot drop to the ground? :D

I'm sure your old and decrepit hips will thank you for getting a bed. It's so much easier to get out of than a mattress. ;)

About 15 years ago, while decorating the bedroom, I slept on a mattress on the floor for a week. So I can empathise. In the tiniest way possible. :o
 
I received a grant from... I actually can't remember who it was - charity that my support worker deals with on behalf of clients - but was only for about a third of what was requested which limited me to the cheapest leccy cooker and the cheapest bed Argos sell so is a single by default. Do feel a little like an unusually large child but certainly not complaining. Was left with two spare (one so bad it borders on a danger to sleeping) mattresses so currently have one under the supplied mattress cos I've got nowhere else to put it til I can get shot of it. This makes it a rather high bed - it's level with the top of my sofa so getting on for three foot maybe. It feels rather regal sleeping so far from the floor. No smashed crockery so far but have had the occasional nose bleed and a touch of vertigo now and then during the acclimation period. Soooooooooooo much comfier though. Very much a snoo of truly snooey proportions.
