On a side note I recently downloaded the entire hawkwind discography (I did have all their albums on vinyl until some cunt nicked 'em) from a torrent site - 50GB of data, 100+ albums including weird tapes and solo stuff. Awesome..

That is fuckin spooky - Jefferson Airplane are another of my faves. You'll be telling me you like the grateful dead next.....

Saw them live Halloween 1990 Wembley arena, thank fuck I did buy the t-shirt as apart from Bruce Hornsby being on keyboard, I can't remember anything else.

TBH though I prefer the dead doing bluegrass and folk rather than psychedelia.

Workingmans dead, American beauty etc.

Yes, I know what you mean - the psychedelic Dead can take some getting into. (Though I do love 'Anthem of the Sun')

Yet another classic. Actually, Pentangle (with Bert Jansch) also did a great version of 'Sally go round the roses' - if you don't know it im sure it'll be available on youtube or spotify.

So damn jealous, even if you don't remember it! I like most of their stuff but I find some of the very early stuff to be a bit undeveloped.

Did you ever listen to any of the Garcia/Grisman stuff?
