A version of this came up on our jazzy new orleans spotify radio - "Music from Louisiana - "Zydeco Boogaloo" The Revelers" and I said I bet Sammy G would like it. She said why, and I said it sounded a bit Irish and Pogues-like, despite it being all Cajun like.

We shall see. I liked it anyway. :D

It's the accordion that does it. I can imagine battering along to that, aye.

I spent the night semi-seriously practising my singing again. My upper register consists of four good notes and a few above which crack every time, and my lower register makes sappy love ballads sound like murderous stalking anthems. Maybe I should keep it to my room.
