I have a shitload of Pumpkins live shows but that last one is especially good. Have heard it a gazillion time but this is the first time I've ever actually seen the infamous "Rudy the "Striker"" (for which I presume he means "streaker" due to the fact he is clearly a streaker and doesn't even attempt to score a goal or owt.

Smashing Pumpkins - Being Beige

Yes, recent Pumpkins material is pretty damn depressingly shite compared to when they were good. Even the addition of RATM's drummer is balanced out by having The Killer's bassist. Will the inhumanity never end :!

However, I was pottering and that track gives me an excuse to post...

Pet Shop Boys - Being Boring

Which - perhaps more interestingly to me than thee - is the first track from the last decent PSB album. Given how much I used to listen to the PSBs they are surely worth an occasional outing now cos Behaviour and back are all stone cold classics. Unlike Adore onwards in the Pumpkins instance.
