Should I say something to my connection?

I want to say Ive been dealing with this particular connection for many many years, with no problems, Im happy with the size of the bags I get, and the quality is pretty consistent, but I have noticed like the past couple weeks, they seem to be getting kind of careless...the first time this happened, I got ahold of them with the amount I wanted, they say, OK, meet me 'here' in like 45 minutes, so I pull in this place, and see their car pull in a few min later, apparently they had about 12 people meeting them here at the same time, they would pull up to each car, and move on to the next one.

It was kind of risky in my opinion, anyone paying attention, it was pretty clear what was going on, but I left and let it go, then earlier today, they tell me where to meet them, I pull in and park, they arrive couple minutes later, but pull into a parking spot, I thought I was the only one waiting, but as soon as they pulled in, like 8 people swarmed their car (all clients), but still WTF? Plus, the drive thru line at this particular fast food place was wrapped around and alot of people waiting in this line saw all of this, ANYONE seeing this could easily tell what it was.

I havent said anything to them yet, but its kind of worrying me that one of these days, something bad is going to happen as a result of this...whats strange, they used to have this 'method' that was absolutely perfect, but I guess it was too inconvenient for them to do with a large number of people all the time.

Im just curious if anyone else on here has ever had worries about this kind of shit before and whether I should say something to them or not, I really dont want to, cuz I dont think they would appreciate me telling them how to operate something theyve been doing for many years. but..??

I would definitely bring it up but be careful how you word it. Don't tell him what he "should" do; point out what is taking place.
I mostly had dealers that were extra cautious, even paranoid. This guy sounds reckless. Be careful.

I think they have just gotten too comfortable and presume everything will go fine ALL the time.

I recently got a connect from a friend they were a younger couple probably about 25 years old. They did the same thing drove around smoking blunts while delivering stuff would park at gas stations and fast food places with at least 4 people waiting. My girlfriend and I would laugh as like 6 people would swarm the car and on top of it they never had shit ready so each person took like 10 second at the window. I personally waited until everyone was gone before i went and got my stuff because i figured they would get busted with 5 people at the window or at least i would have a chance at not getting caught up in it.

Then one day they just never answered their phone after always being around for about 5 months, my guess is their luck ran out. They were nice people, polite and on time for the most part they were just complete morons. I dont know if they felt cool or something or they thought that was the easiest way to do it but your right it is so obvious and extremely noticeable. I commented on it and said it was ridiculous and I honestly think they thought it was cool because they just kind of brushed my comment off. I basically said "You guys are ballsy i would never meet more then 2 people at a place and smoking weed while doing it shit id be paranoid off my ass, i cant even wait for the dope man stoned let alone drive with stuff while smoking a blunt"

They also had a habit of driving with what looked to be everything, I mean i guess they had to if they were meeting a parking lots worth of people in one go. I also made a comment along the lines of "damn arent you worried about getting robbed?" I think that is what you should do just kind of word it like that serious but at the same time kinda not. I will probably never hear from them again odds are they got busted with like 5 people hanging out their window and honestly if not for my g/f and i getting on methadone right before they stopped responding there is a chance i would have been caught up in it. We were going to get something that night but they said it would be an hour wait and i said "i will contact you tomorrow, its not a big deal tonight i just wanted it for tomorrow anyway." that phrase may have made the difference.

Pretty much every professional dope dealer is a ticking time bomb. Plan accordingly
I dont know about that, I mean, even tho what they are doing is risky, what are the chances police will be in the right spot at the right time, plus, even tho they may deal with 8-12 people at one place, still, they are up and gone within 2 minutes, I dont think police could even respond that quickly if someone were to call in a tip...by the time police got there, everyone would be gone.

I tend to think most dealers get caught selling to an undercover, and this probably happens when one of their normal customers gets caught with dope and the police try to get them to set up a fake buy, so they can bust the dealer...I may be wrong, but I dont think many people get busted JUST from police seeing them doing something in a parking lot...IDK tho, maybe cops do get lucky like that..??

I just meant it as a general rule of thumb rather than a direct comment on this situation. But It does show a general disregard for themselves and the clients well being. But your right CI's are probably the biggest threat.

Bring it up or find a new connect, there's no worse kick than a jail kick.
Fuckin' right.. Even if you get bonded out after you get popped, intake is pure hell.. Concrete everything, progressively getting sicker and sicker waiting on the prick guards to move you to 20 different tanks, each worse than the next, all while you sink into RLS madness, knowing it will be 24hr's till they let you out.. Also, when you get to the last tank, actually KNOW you're about to dip, another 20-40 minutes passes because they are slower than goddamn turtles. Get a new plug, because IF by some ridiculous stroke of luck they avoid in the back of a cruiser, it's sure to happen quite soon. There's the easy way, and the 'hard' way, but if driving to different spots to do quickies is too much then ol' boy is lazy and is risking yours, and his own freedom. Nothing difficult about driving around, doing what needs done, and being lowkey. Greed / recklessness has taken over.

IMO, meeting at gas stations seems like the best way, as even if police do start asking questions about why you are there, its a gas station, Im there to get a pack of smokes, to get a pop, to pull over and make a call, etc, I mean, there are 1000 reasons to be at a gas station. Fast food joints are a close second, Im there to get a value meal, etc. I may be wrong, but I think police actually have to witness the transaction to take things further, I dont think they can just come up to a random car and search it.

Damn right you need to say something- I had one connect pull that 'serve 12 motherfuckers in 2 minutes like McD's' style of dealing, I said something about it, he replied basically 'no one cares [that we're buying/selling drugs]'... few months later he got popped. Even if you dont get popped, do you want a ton of other junkies there while you do your business?

Also agree with the above poster; gas stations are good, I prefer grocery stores tho. Absolute worst place are carwashes: ton of blind spots, nosy fkn ppl, and only 2 reasons to be there. For about 6 months I had one dealer insist on meeting at one... I hated it but otoh my car was always clean.

My guy, there's 3 ways he meets me:

1. He meets me in a fast food parking lot and we do the hand off while he pretends to give me directions, then I follow him out as we both always head the same direction from there.

2. Same as #1, but we do the hand off after we pull out of the lot on the side of the street.

3. I pull down his block and he hops in the car for a bit. If there's anyone around or a car looking sketch, I'll drive around the block before he gets out.

There's been only one time where I saw other customers at the spot and that was just one car and we all were parked next to each other with his car in the middle so he could make it quick.

The exchange is clearly the most dangerous part of the ride. If you can get to the spot, get your shit and get a few blocks away, 90% chance you're golden.

Yea, I would be leery of meeting at a car wash.

Regarding grocery stores, my guy used to have his GF go inside, get a cart, push it around the store, throw a few things in here and there, and have customers meet her inside the store, I thought this worked pretty good, but obviously, cant use this same method day after day, at the same store...The thing I loved about meeting like this, pretty much guaranteed NO cops will see whats going on, the worst that could happen in some other shopper could see the hand off, but they probably would think the 2 people are there together and just handing something to each other, I dont think anyone would go right to..'oh thats a drug deal going on' though. Weve done this type of meeting at wally world before too.

Futhermore this is a topic Ive been thinking alot about lately, Ive been trying to figure out an absolute foolproof 'method' to meet, and do the exchange, I know everyone has their own ways of doing things, but with all the smart people out there today, I believe there has to be some kind of way that is BEST, with almost no chance of being caught or seen.

The best Ive come up with is pizza delivery, with one of those goofy car topper signs on your car, police would not give you a second look when they see you driving around all day, going to different places constantly, continually meeting 'customers', taking money, etc. this could work pretty good, but would require the dealer to actually work as a pizza delivery driver, but on their shifts, they could have their customers meet them anywhere they are going, but i dont think many dealers would want to work a regular job, plus, they would have to keep ALL the dope in the car at all times, scales, weigh it out whenever someone texts or calls, etc.

or maybe drive a taxi, that would probably work better than pizza delivery.

You're right they dont just get lucky and roll in on a distribution center LOL. Dealers like this get caught because of what they are doing, cops dont need to undercover them. The OP said they were at a fast food place. If they go to that spot even occasionally and do like the OP says, the business or the patrons will call the cops. They say call us next time they are here, the cops show up, catch them in the act with all their stash with them. They will have multiple bags which shows intent to sell and Thats all it takes. People in store front businesses see that shit right away because they are not doing what everyone else does when they frequent that location. A patron that parks his car and walks in and see's whats going on will bust them too. Its just like when you're driving, drive like everyone else you blend in. You drive much faster and different than everyone else you stand out like a sore thumb from a mile away. A hooker is just a chick walking down the street, but to the business the same bitch walks by their store 10 times a day.

I had someone do this exact thing to me, said meet me here and same thing, several people were there, in a bank parking lot where the person in the drive up window could see clearly and had no cases in line. I left went and parked down the street and texted the guy that I had moved. 2 weeks later he got busted in that parking lot. He's in the clink for 5 years :-/

Back in my 20s which was the 80s lol I'd sell weed, more just so mine was free than to profit but I lived in an apartment and lived next door to a Female cop. I did it for 3 years and never had an issue, I'd even have her over for BBQs sometimes :) It was all in how I handled it. Had some pretty strict rules :)
