Any bike people here?

I ride a fix gear with a bottle opener built into its frame.

Perhaps I should find a hipster thread instead.

Can one be a hipster at 40?

The Man has this beast - she's amazing <3

(has a "nub" on the pillion seat ;))

I have this - there is no pillion, only a shopping basket :D

Pushbikes Josh!

I have a fixie that I have unfixed otw, takes me down in the hipster stakes a bit but it's still a hipster bike a bit I guess. I like how angry it makes all the fixie people that I have unfixed it.

I'm coveting a new mtb at the moment but can't justify the money. Got my eyes on what I want, might snap one up at the back end of the year when the 2015 has some money knocked off.

Fancy bike/s kate!

i wanna cyclocross bike so bad. im riding a rocky mountain hybrid and im tired of it to be honest. want something new between my legs.

Have a look at rose bikes, a couple of my dad's mates have bought cx bikes from them and are really happy. It's oone of their mountain bikes that I'm coveting.

Bicycles:

Road Bike (Specialized Tricross - cyclocross bike that I reappropriated into a tourer for LEJoG and was my daily commuter for about 5 years. Reckon I've done about 20,000 miles on it - not always with a tent strapped to the back of it though!).

Fixie (SE Lager - loads more mods - mostly following the green and white theme - since this pic was taken).

Hardtail (Whyte 810 - my most recent addition, haven't ridden this much yet!).

I also have the winter hack, a rigid Marin which I've had for about 15 years or more. It's a bit of a triggers broom bike, I think only the frame, fork and bars remain - get loads of good groupset parts off me old man whenever he upgrades something on one of his many bikes...

Unicycles:

Onza '05 Trials. (best pic I could find, just about to fall off the wall I reckon).

Motorbikes

CBR 600 (now sold :( ).

VFR 400 R (not currently running due to a dodgy rectifier, but I love this thing, I've had her for 10 years or more. Gear driven cams sound wonderful and all the power is above about 9,000rpm, so much fun!).

Trust me to the get wrong sort of bike 8) OOPS

I have mountain bike (fuck those hills :!) but much prefer my ladies sedate shopping number :p

As for the V-Strom <3 that's the kinds a bike you want, it does all terrain at speed %)

Well I think both types of two (or less) wheeled vehicle should be welcome in this thread :p

I unfixed mine as well. I'm old enough to appreciate the need for brakes ;)

Hmm, whist I'm not keen on the motorcycle invasion (although I used to have one) I've got to say that bike in the Rothman's regalia is fucking ace Josh!

You don't have the wrong bike at all kate, all pushbikes are welcome here! That's a fucking smart bike in fact!

I'm trying to track down one of these in a size 14" to turn in to a street trials bike at the moment:

It's soomething a bit different and should have fun building it up, got a feeling I might never find the frame though.

Me three (flip flop hubs all round right?). Tried to get into riding it fixed (with brakes), but couldn't get my head over the sensation of being pushed off the bike whenever I slowed down. I could see the benefits to it though, constant cadence and all that. I've got a friend who I ride with a fair bit whose been riding fixed for years, he has such a smooth riding style now, it's a pleasure to watch!

What the...??? Really? What age is that little beauty?

Not many people will realise what you have there. Very nice. That rear wheel. <3

p.s. let's see the front of her.

Btw the motorbike Kate posted isn't mine; it's a google image search. Mine is here:
