Yes on addiction for an other but the WD phyically from the morphine as I understand is easier or at -least quiker kick than benzo's and tram + I am sure its effects will xover any trammy and benzo WD if I taper down trammy and drop xanax and lower clona.

Cheaper and probably mentally and phyically not as bad either.

I can use booze as I ahe zero trouble quitting booze but I'm working functionally so I can't be pissed up.

......of course I might up taking the lot. . .

methdone not a option here.

i take both morphine & tramadol for chronic pain and benzos for anxiety. Having years of experience, my answer to your question would be both "yes" and "no." The morphine would definitely stop tramadol withdrawals, but most likely would cause you to be dependent on morphine, which, to most people, has far worse withdrawals. Opiates will not help with benzo withdrawals, aside from perhaps masking a little of the discomfort. They will not reduce the risk of seizure and not help much with the rebound anxiety. The only safe (and less hellishly uncomfortable) way to get off benzos is to taper. Some people can taper faster than others. Most people find that switching to a longer-acting benzo, such as diazepam (Valium), makes for an easier withdrawal. Personally, i have been able to taper much more easily off alprazolam (xanax), but that's not very common. Some doctors nowadays actually prescribe tramadol for morphine/opiod withdrawal, not the reverse. Bottom line: trying to replace tramadol & benzos with morphine is not a good idea, can be counterproductive, and even dangerous.

Thank you. I've decidedthings are running too wild and I Have to regain control of thing so adding more drugs won't help.

Don't forget that he'll also have the w/d from the SNRI part of tramadol, I've never gone thru it but I hear it can be pretty uncomfortable.
