aMT, Al-Lad, LSz, 5-meo-dalt, (also AH7921+) BANNED from Jan 7th

Fighting bullying with bullying makes you a bully. I can't see how Rass' passive-aggressive debating style (better than aggressive-aggressive though it is) won the thread by going on about HPPD when we were talking about psychosis and the like - taking the best 'data' he could find, the risk seemed to be 4.1% of people who had done peyote 100 times. Pretty weak really. (unless you mean a moral victory for his comportment; but even then, he makes the top three at best)
 
So yeah, al-lad... Did i read that it had been previously thought that you'd need LSD to synth it, and someone discovering a different synth allowed it to be sold legally as an RC? If that's true, it's not surprising that al-lad and lsz have been jumped on so quickly.
Any chemical featured in tikhal was always going to draw attention to itself as well. I've got an al-lad new years planned, im excited and hope it doesnt disappoint!!
 
Seems to be a pretty universally praised chemical, not sure i've really seen anything negative or neutral written about it yet. Long time since i researched an RC and that was the case
 
Etizolam isn't being banned is it? My mate said something about an online supplier saying they wouldn't be getting any more stock.

Any ideas? I fucking hope not!
 
Nothing official has been mentioned about an etiz ban but there was stories of it being seen as a date rape drug in the media (in America?). That and the fact its sold as a prescription med which makes it more sketchy to be sold as an RC (hence other rc's being sold in "pellets" rather than pills.) Most American vendors have stopped selling it and most UK vendors are following suit but there are loads more new RC benzos appearing.

Crazy how there can be tons of mind numbing benzos and other toxic shite legally available yet the government jump on "relatively" safe and useful psychedelic compounds in the blink of an eye.
 
The conspiracy theorists would say that they're happy to dumb you down and not so happy with opening your mind...! That'd be absurd though wouldn't it.. :\?
 
is odd isnt it, i would have thought the rc benzos would be top of the list to regulate against.
 
Exactly, the argument that Raas raised about Al-lad being to closely related to a banned substance doesn't hold water when RC benzos are related to controlled substances which are just as illegal without a prescription as LSD is.. It stinks and shows the ACMD aren't working in the interests of keeping the kids safe but just on their own interests and prejudices.
 
Yeah, as I watch the way the authorities react to compounds & how they go about banning them, I begin to see a pattern.

Here it is. You got a drug like aMT, very popular, leaks outta RC scene into Legal Highs, couple people die, a few get ill, some raves get cancelled halfway through, you get the picture. Popular + Harmful = Banned. So, government starts working on an update to the law pertaining to this particular chemical, in this case, the law controlling tryptamines like Psilocybin, DMT & LSD. As they're going along, a couple new tryptamines appear & bang, they're on the list too.

So, get this, Al-Lad & LSz are being banned simply because the government decided to ban aMT a while ago & Al-Lad & LSz have appeared in the meantime, happen to be related to LSD (scaaaarey!) & just happen to be from the same group of compounds. 5-meo-dalt, also a tryptamine but nowhere near as popular or as risky to use as aMT (imo), is banned, again, to save time.

I guess AH-7921 got tagged because of an inate fear of opiates & because there's been a string of fatalities in Europe, I think.

I also wonder given how widely accepted the effects of alcohol are, if perhaps having a benzo'd up population suits the suits as much as having a pissed up population.

I don´t think it´s going to happen that fast. I believe you will have time to adapt. I would already start looking for an alternative..
 
benzo use on the other hand is harder to control now that im giving it more thought. there are already plenty of available ones, though only through scrips... but i imagine there is osme r&d in that department also by big pharma which may not want too strict regulations on stuff they can actually sell.
 
If all the thieno/benzos were banned, imagine how many people would flood the NHS with seizures/WD. That would not be cheap. I presume that is the reason they have remained available for so long.

A question: if one was to be arrested for the possession of a bag of powder (of aMT, for example), given it usually takes ~6 weeks for lab identification, would one be charged with possession of a Class A/B, as by the time the results are back, aMT would be scheduled?

Also; fuck whoever decided to ban them a week before my student loan is paid in. >_>
 
Seeing aMT up for a ban is sad times indeed. I have had many a wonderful session on that drug & it slipped the radar for so many years. It's sad to think the explosion of the RC market is pretty much to blame for the increase in awareness of these chemicals - good for us in ways but now meaning that are all becoming banned faster and faster with all the extra attention they get.

The best I ever had was like brick dust, a dark red/orange colour.

Just because it would be difficut to ban now doesnt mean they should postpone it. The longer rc benzos are out there the more severe things will be when they do ban it....
