Yes definately, i agree. I deliberately tried to ignore that fact on the night, as you had seemed concerened in some of your PMs and posts that i was gonna try to hit on you or something, (or were people winding you up and teasing you about that, call me paranoid, but i can easily imagine that somehow 8( ) so i didnt want to do or say anything that could even remotely be interpreted that way. :\

If anything, i felt like the goosebury on the night, as with my ageing ears i couldn't hear the quietly spoken swampy atall over the sound of the very loud jukebox. Whilst the music was good it was too loud to have a proper group chat. If id been more familair with the venue and you guys id have asked them to turn it down a tad.

Although i could finally hear you both upstairs on the balcony thing, it was fucking freezing up there, and i didnt want to start whinging straight away about the cold, straight after whinging about the music being too loud. 8(

Did you guys go on somewhere else afterwards for a 'nightcap' as you seemed to be getting on really well? I'd like to get together again sometime, maybe Ponch or another Mancunian might like to join us next time.

lol, "nightcap", what are you asking exactly? And no. :p And sure, a Christmas gathering would be good.. definitely if we can drag ponch along. I'll try to speak louder next time. :D

And as for that quoted PM, Sam, I dearly wish I wrote quite that stylishly.
 
I've only ever read your forum posts, but I'm sure you could manage better than a tossed-off bit of dubious internet comedy. Besides, you can even get paid for it, can't you? ;)

I wondered about that suspiciously-euphemistic bit of speculation about the 'nightcap' too. Shame on you, MDB.
