Nice to hear that quality is getting better again over there.

Anyone from Germany here? Didn't use any heroin for almost a year now but I guess I'd like to have a toot soon. Would be nice to know how things are here right now.

dont sweat it acieed _ed - i got my comeuppance for getting all preachy this morning when i went to my local chemist to get my sat/sun methadone only to find that no one had bothered to come into work. Its an independent chemist in a small rural village (out in the sticks ) which has recently changed hands. I havnt met the new owner yet, apparently he owns a number of independent pharmcies across the north west midlands. Im their only methdone patient and since he has taken over hes been staffing the shop with locum pharmacists, so it is beliveable that due to their oversight he has forgotten to book a member of staff for this morning (they open 9-13.00 on a saturday so i have to have my supervised dose and collect my sunday takehome between these hours). Their cockup has left me without 2 days worth of methadone. Luckily i have quite alot of heroin as i was supposed to be saving myself for a smoke tomorrow, but i was due to go to help out at the village bonfire tonight, and needed the level the methadone provides. While i havnt started on the gear yet, i needed some flubromazepam to calm my nerves. With the potential of loking proper benzo fucked, i cant even have a pint now and as all the villagers now im a junky, i dont think floating down tot he event on a carpet of benzo fluff just as i start to yawn, sniffle and show the early signs of opiate w/d will demonstrate the utltimate in reliability.

Im sorry for coming on a bit strong this morning acieed_ed - from reading your reply and from the praise you gave the paramedics following your od its clear that you are a respectful person

most people are absolutely clueless.
That's really unprofessional of your pharmacist.when you tell the treatment agency,they may stop him from prescribing as consistency is crucial.
It could cause you to OD,and die.
I doubt there are many other pharmacies in the area that you can use though?

yeah ive chased it all up in any which way i can, 111 nhs calls, calls to my dsp, of coursethere is no point in contacting my own gp - they no longer provide and out of hours service as the NHS 111 line has taken over this function on a natinal basis. i contacted them initially at 9.45 am - it was after 3pm before the 111 on call gp rang me back. Of course she could not and would not even consider writing a prescription or any other contolled opiod (dihydrocodeine is only a class B drug under the MOD Act 1994 and can be prescribed and dispensed using a standard green NHS prescription, as a pose to the specialised blue scripts that schedule 2 and 3 class a controlled drugs require for dispensation. As far as the NHS cares drug treatment is a weekday service and not a valid health care problem for out hours to neither treat nor even provide reassurance. The doctor ws very impatient and spoke to me with utter contempt, even going as far as blaming me for the situation. "you should not be using an independent chemist for this sort of service. You should be using a big chain store like boots" 'But i live 12 miles away from the nearest city' i replied ' and making a daily 24 mile around journey is virtually impossible for meas i have to care for my mentally ill mother alot of the time, which will be comlpicated by my physicaaly ill dad who goes into hosptal for surgery a week o monday'. "this is not my problem, nor can i offer you any supportor advice. You are a drug abuser Mr Francis, consider yourself lucky that you recieve any help or treatment at all. Good afternoon and goodbye"

Sorry stee I didnt intentially ignore your meth problem I did a meth detox in the year 2000 on remand in prison 35mls starting dose and reduced 5ml a day. Signed up twice for meth clincs in 14 years fucked em off after 1 or two pickups and self detoxed buying physeptone off mates. Didnt have bad habit. Longest I did was smoking daily for 6 months and drank my 200mls for detox in two days and cold tuekeyed it...fucking harsh no joke a good lesson.
You can call out of hours docs dial a doc or ask a mate etc to throw you enuff meth to hold you mb

That was really what I was alluding to up there somewhere. With opiates especially, you're fine just as long as you keep on using; the real ill effects come from discontinuing use. And that adds an extra, psychological urge to go and score, right on top of when your body is already short of endorphins since your pituitary gland can't produce them quickly enough.

hey acieed-ed, no worries man, i have been in game long enough to know what is all about. i used h for the 1st time in 2004 so its ten years now duh. maybe that predrought stuff are not everywhere in ireland YET! where did you scored pre-drough gear in?i alway score h in north inner-city and sometime in south inner city. do you smoke or shot up?if you smoke, is the bettle really black and shiny, and when u break the bettle, it look like a glass shard ya no? and what about the rush, europhia etc etc?i just wanted to know if its exactly the same as before drought that all if you don't mind me asking.lol

I always find it so hard to tell, top notch to me is when i went over on a 5th of a bag many years ago when i first started, obviously nothing ever going to come close due to tolerance and that, but the gear round Yorkshire def has a decent bit of h in it atm. Can you guys genuinely tell its pre drought quality or is it a bit of a guess? I mentally class it as bash, alright or rocket fuel, though if im rattling a bag of alright would probably feel stronger than a bag of the best, & set n setting somewhat applies

3 diff bags of powerful h off 3 diff people 1st type was almost grey was strongest ive ever had in 14 years nearly ended my life after a few thin snorts.
2nd strongest type off girl on street in town yellow/golden blob which indicates mannitol but the h in it was euphoria heaven on a half bag aint got dat feeling in 8 yr's.
3rd bag of known man had no mannitol and was dark not as amazing as other two but v nice

as i said irish guy - following the drought i started picking up decent heroin again in april 2011. it didnt last tho - by the end of that summer it had all turned into the kind of rubbish that we all got used to - weak ass brown that will stop a rattle with one bag but no matter how much you smoked you couldn't get stoned from it. my theory is that by the spring / summer of 2011 proper heroin was finding itself back into the uk scene, but with regards to the dealers and suppliers that survived that awful winter ended up sitting on tons of the worthless bash that they had bought during the drought. after an initial period of selling decent gear again they resorted to cutting all the good stuff with the crap they had been sitting on all winter. this led to two years of generally crap heroin in my home city, as i described above, although the street dealerz would accidentally sell proper heroin from time to time. I found a good connect in the winter of 2012 who would sell pre drought quality weight at pre drought prices, but by the spring of 2013 his gear went as shit as the rest of it so i stopped using him

so back to playing hit and miss with the street dealers, more misses than hits, then august 2013 saw a decent batch knocking around, when that ran out the next lot was ok, and by last christmas all the dealers i know had the real deal again, and a few twists and turns aside, the situation has prevailed.

with regards to my methadone problems this weekend - i have tried contacting every nhs service available, if you read my other post, you will see that no out of hours service exists at my gps, and all their weekend calls are directed to the less than useless 111 service, and you can read the content of the conversation i had with the un sympathetic and dismissive doctor above

ps ructions is fine - i spoke to her on facbook on thursday. shes thrown herself into rallying the troops against this water meter business going on in eire, so it sounds like shes getting on with her life rather than sit around on bluelight talking about drugs

Personally,I would just go to a walk in clinic
when they see you are sick,they may prescribe a few DFs.
btw,my morphine script is a regular green script even though it is a controlled drug

Hi everyone! I'm grand, same old. Still working away. And unfortunately, still using. I stopped using for a few months, but as usual I couldn't stay away.

There is a great improvement in the quality of gear in Dublin. This makes it harder to stay away. My drugs tests haven't come back positive for benzos in months, so local dealers have stopped cutting the gear with it. In my personal opinion the gear still is'nt quite as strong as pre drought gear, but that might just be me constantly searching for the ultimate Buzz... (ie. Chasing the Dragon. Isn't that where that saying came from? Always trying to find the buzz you got when you first started using gear?)

Anyway, the gear looks good, tastes good, and gives a lovely buzz. I'm not working this weekend, it's my first weekend off in months. So, I've been on a bit of a mad one. I'm just finishing off my last bag at the minute. I'm still on methadone, I probably always will be. I do a drugs test once every two weeks. So, once I'm careful I can pass the test. I try to only use every second week. I pass my drug test about 60% of the time. I'm gonna try cut back on how much I use. *sigh* Same old story...

How is everyone on BL? I chat to Kat and Stee on Facebook, but I haven't chatted to anyone else in months! How are you Strungout? Hope you're well. How is the gear in your area? P.S. Julie, have you read any good books recently? Did you see that author, Tony O'Neill, has released "Digging The Vein" as an e-book. I downloaded it during the week, it's next on my to be read list. Tony O Neill is a great author. I think you read "Sick City," Julie. That was a class book! "Death on Murder Mile," is really good too. Can't wait to start "Digging The Vein." It sounds really good. It's the authors own personal experiences with drug addiction.

My mam came over to visit me today and i pressed her about the details of my near fatal h OD 3 weeks ago. After the 2 ambulance men sussed i was near death they called a fire engine and 6 more paramedics tryed to revive me injected me with the antidote to h no effect twice more every 2 mins while my mam held my hand crying as my life was slipping away. After being put in ambulance a forth shot of antidote was administered (unheard of)and he told my mum they couldnt revive me rushed to resus life saved and woke up hours later in hosp with no memory of it.feel like such a prick for putting her thru that

You absolutely need to grasp the reality of your situation and seek some help, or you're gonna be the subject of our next RIP thread.
