Does believing in Evolution say a lot about you

Status
Not open for further replies.
you have faith in evolution because you have never observed it or seen any factual evidence that shows one species can become another species.

So you're implying that evolution must revolve around a system of faith because it cannot be observed?

Well, sorry to disappoint, but yes it can. The influenza virus evolves every year. That's evolution that we can witness in real time, with our own eyes.

Evolution remains true, whether you believe in it or not. That's the beauty of it.

^^^^^^
Yeah, evolution is a fact has done been proposed.....already proved why it isnt
faith is a strong belief or confidence in something that is unseen or cant be proved
thank you come again

You could retort on the duck billed platypus being 20 miiillllliiooon years old tho

Well Dude, Duder,your Dudeness ,
I guess your dancing with yourself then
let me know who wins

No takers on odds of DBP making it another 20 million years with no change
20, 000,000:1 odds
Fast fact: Did you know the DBP is poisonous?
Really cool how he delivers it
look em up

Edit: another removed post
lol

That's the only way to say something is million of years old

We can also do radioisotope dating - comparing the ratios of various isotopes in the earth which decay at different speeds. It's not just circular logic like you're implying.

There's actually lots of wierd animals that essentially haven't evolved at all in millions of years. There's the coelacanth (400 million years), ginkgo biloba (technically a tree but still old as fuck at 270 million years), crocodilians (~80 million years), pelicans (30 million years), etc.

If our good buddy the crocodile can make it for 80 million years, I'm sure the duck billed platypus can do another 20 million no problem.

Also let's be mature and maybe not call each other idiots. I don't want to have to vanish more posts.

methamaniac there's a really good Mental Health sub forum on Bluelight that may well be of good use to yourself...

You're dodging all replies thrown at you and just spewing up random facts that don't seem to back up any hypothesis that you have?

Everything that's been rebutted, you ignore and divert it to a different subject. So let's start again.

What is your concrete piece of proof that evolution, as a theory, is flawed?

Tiny invisible steps
bawhaaa

Forever,
But unlike your post of circle jerk in the wind someone can at least go back and read the links of how stupid their faith is

You're quoting 'The Daily Mail' as a reliable source in a serious debate of evolution? Really?

Here's a compiled list of things that the Daily Mail asserts to be carcinogenic, i.e. gives you cancer.

You're a joke, and not worth replying to from here on in.

Look at the end of my last link
Now DBP is missing link
I couldnt make that up

You down with DBP ,
Yeah you know me

So ok, tell me what is false about article?

Thank you come again soon

IS quoting a PHD from Oxford below your standard
Nighty nite
Sweet dreams DBP I will "imagine" your evolution in my dreams
Dont know if I can sleep 20 million years
well you didnt really do anything for last 20 million so I should be fine

Im on the wagon....
But thx for caring

Thx all for the post
srry for silliness but no one will respond with substance
Ps what is DBP's common ancestor?
Hint: gotta go back 200 milllllioooonnnnnn years
and it is looks Real similar to DBP we have today

Im on the wagon

If you're genuinely not on drugs and you're not a troll, you seriously need psychological help.

no one will respond with substance

Your questions have resulted in a great deal of time and effort from dozens of intelligent and respectful BL members. Against their better judgement (I hope) they have given you the benefit of the doubt and engaged in your proposed discussion with undue patience and grace. The fact that you say nobody will respond with substance, means that you don't appreciate - or even acknowledge - the effort. You are wasting people's time. You are childish. You are a troll.

Ok,
Instead of that post
couldnt you took a few lines to what a fish does with all the parts before the lungs are formed?
And why it waste time making something that will not benefit for a looong time to come.
wouldn't have to keep up those parts be a burden
Why did the lung fish basically stop evolving
and why do you think DBP hasn't changed in 20 million years and bearly changed for 100 million
whats hard about responding to two or three questions
with a thoughtful response
you've wasted enough time to have a 3 page response

The oldest fossils of the modern platypus are only 100 000 yr old. The extinct monotremes Teinolophos and Steropodon were closely related to the modern platypus are thought to have existed 100million years ago, but they are both different species to today's platypus. They are believed to be two of the oldest mammals discovered.

^^^^^
Did you read my first link from national geographic?
Now I know you went to wikipedia and im glad my questions are making you think.
This is good progress

Now go back to my article
Look at the pictures.
And what they say about where the split occurred with "cousin" as you say
Man for that many million of years you would expect a bigger change
evolution predicts it
thank you kindly for thoughtful response
You are a thinker

Forever, figured you for a candy smasher

Ps
you have to to click on pictures of jaw bone

( learning requires jusf a little work)
But you're wwell on our way
