The Ferguson thread / additional race discussion

He had according to the officer already assaulted him, and this was enough to cause bodily injury.

Now this 300 lb 6'4" man is turning around and coming back toward him, and still being defiant. He may be on his way to pummel him again.

I may have handled it all differently.

What if the cop was a smaller female and this guy had injured her face/assaulted her, and then turned around to come back at her?

What about a regular citizen?

I've got a gun, this guy comes at me after assaulting me once, I'm going to fire a couple of shots at his feet and warn him, depending on his distance, and if he takes one more step I'm aiming center.

The multiple shots could have been losing his head, or perhaps Brown really kept coming at him. 6 feet 4 and 300 lbs is a lot of man. Not to mean he can take more bullets, but he can be intimidating.

If you want more humor read the comments below the video on youtube.

It's not surprising that the latest comment on that video on youtube calls the guy in the video an Uncle Tom, a bigot/race traitor, and the comment was written by a professional complainer.

No, no, no, the humor wasn't the video itself. Because I didn't see it, you see? It was that it was "black friend approved". Hilarity ensued.

Literally the only thing in the entire article about this:

"‘Josie', who would only give her first name but said she was friends with the cop's girlfriend, had her account corroborated by a source who said it matched what Wilson told investigators, CNN reported on Monday.

According to the St Louis Post-Dispatch more than a dozen witnesses have backed up Officer Wilson's report of what happened on August 9."

Seems legit.

Bardeaux, it names a source, and multiple news outlets report the same. Why would police claim this about the witnesses if they couldn't back it up? Just because it's not yet dissimenated to us in detail doesn't mean it's not there.

He did say the entire thread. What can we here on this forum, unless we were a direct witness, do, but speculate?

I understand though on a drug website there is going to be a "fuck the police" attitude about things among many. I've been arrested four times myself, but, come on.
 
Meanwhile a lot of others believe (or believed) the whole "hands up don't shoot" narrative, and being shot in the back when ballistics confirm only frontal shots, and an officer trying to pull a 6'4" 300 lb man in through a window.
