Had anybody experience with pain intensity after acute Opioide withdrawal (Hyperalgesia) ?
I mean how long did it last for you ? 2-3 weeks ? Or 1 month ? 3-6 months (like PAWS) ?

How long was your addicition before you quit ?
And where is your pain mostly ? Joints pain (specially legs), foot pain/ bottom of the foot, back pain, stomach pain ?

I have at morning upper back pain and stomach pain and through the day foot pain/ bottom of the foot + little bit knee pain.

The two times I quit, each time around 9-10 months, I had a lot of lower back pain along with a shoulder that still needs surgery. It actually seemed like EVERYTHING hurt for the first 2 weeks and I took ibuprofen at the rate of 2400-3200mg a day. And it helped. Once that first month got past everything seemed to ease off, except for the shoulder. Just hang in there and use the otc pain relievers as directed and it shall pass, unless you have an existing problem that is and then you may have to do some other things that DO NOT rely on opiates/ opioids. Just remember that opiate wds will not kill you, they will only make you wish they would!

My habit was very large in the end I jumped of 150 mgpd methadone, 260 mgpd roxy, and 6 mgpd xanax. I had been on the xanax for 17 years and physically dependent to opiates of a little under six years.

The tailbone and lower back pain is usually nero pain induced by the withdrawal. These medications usually entirely relive this. The can cause a physical dependence but IMO are not addicting.

one of either

OR >phenibut<

Some of the other pains you are experiencing may be due to low vitamine D.. as this is very common for long time opiate users to have. I would add the max recommended dosage of vitamine D as a supplement and consider having a vitamine D level blood test done as well as I actually had to double the max recommended dose for a few months as I was already taking the max and was still really low. To much vitamine D can have negative consequences so its smart to get the level before you go over the recommended dose.

The stomach pain is also likely the PAWS.. Allot of paws comes from the hypothalamus and this controls so many things including our hunger and vomit reactions.. How are your bowel movements, cause if you haven't gotten that system stabilized this may aslo be the cause.. so if your still constipated then I would try Senokot S is a stool softener and laxative. If you do not want the laxative you can go for strait stool softenerDioctyl sodium sulfosuccinate.

If you are stabilized or more in the loose stools fase then you may consider adding some loperamide. Loperamide is actually a strong opiate but is flushed from the blood brain barrier very quickly. There are opiate receptors in your digestive tract so the addition of this medication may calm the stomach pain. I would not use high doses of this as it is an opiate and affects the opiate receptors in the brain and the way to get these to shut down is to not interact with them.

As far as the foot pain are you on your feet allot during the day as this i feal would be a clear case of symptoms to do with Hyperalgesia.

Dang neversickanymore, it is no wonder you are never sick anymore! ! You are very knowledgeable and you dont mind taking the time to write out a message with very helpful links, and this is what makes bluelight so great. Thumbs up my man.

Hey :)

I think this thread belongs a bit more appropriately in Basic Drug Discussion; I'll move it over there for you, now!

I hope you feel better. Acute opioid withdrawal generally lasts between seven and ten days, with the third through fifth days generally being considered subjectively the worst.

Thanks for your replies.

neversickanymore: To the stomach pain: Mostly I have diarrhea (2-3x) at morning but before that I notice stomach cramp. I take since one week Butylscopolamine but it make my RLS and anxieties a little bit worse. It seems that my 6 years opioid habit destroyed my whole pain, hunger, sleep, emotion and stomach systems.

The acute withdrawal are went but I have acute withdrawal symptoms like sneezing.

Damn, I'm a wreck and every morning is hell.

Hey neversickanymore,
i read about vitamine D and I think I have low vitamine D. I found out that vitamine D+vitamine K2+calcium+magnesium is the best supplement and to avoid negative vitamine d consequences vitamine K2 is important (Super K with high vitamine K1 and 2 amounts). What was/ is your max recommended dose of vitamine D ? First few months vitamine D 50.000 IE ?

I have been thru wds so much I have got it to a science. I stay pretty busy during the day. My symptoms come at nite. But I take300 mgs of neorontin before work. Little fuzzy headed it nothing u can't handle. After work and after my shower I take600 more. By the time I'm ready for bed im drowsy and the leg cramps are not an issue. Diarrhea is handled with Imodium If u can smoke bud it will help your mood. I've kicked or tapered with and without bud. But it is a bonus
