Ok so massive benzo addiction and HMO properties don't mix - fact
High paid jobs and benzo addiction don't mix - Fact

Ok in the space of about 3 weeks, I lost £1700 I was expecting
My job, which was a decent one, but no regrets because i was having to sign fraudulent documents - the solar biz is a mucky biz

And total I just got notice to quit - 28 days - I refused to sign anything

I'm stressed outta my ballbag. No specific reason was give. Just say's 'as per contract terms'.
I've just been handed a triple decker shit sandwich and told to enjoy...

I like my house, I get on well with two of the house mates - the other two caused this

They have since moved out. Now this notice to quit shit (which i refused to sign)

28 days - its not that long - I doubt I'll find a suitable place in this time.

If I ignore it what happens?

I live in Belfast we don't have baliff's here

I hope I have some rights, I have a signed tenancy agreement with a private landlord.

It's increasing my benzo consumption (sorry i'm just a fucking junkie)

What happens if I ignore the 28 days?

Anyone with advie most appreciated

Peace and fucking

How much is your daily benzo consumption now that you are increasing it?

notice to quit - what ?

Have you been given a notice that you need to leave your property or notice that your going to be fired from work (and therefore can't afford your rent).

If you can afford to pay then do not leave, check the small print of your contract as you may be able to stay as a non paying 'guest' of your other housemate. (It's normally 2 months notice from a landlord to ask you to leave - one month if you want to leave (check your contract)).

If you have been given 28 days notice to leave work - work 14 days and then go on the sick, get stress, hurt your back (have you been employed by them for more than 3 months - are you full time) - you can get 3 months paid sick. This 3 months will give you time to find somewhere else to work / live.

If your skint goto the Job Center (or whatever there called) - tell them you have a house but cant afford to pay, see if they will pay your rent (cheaper for them than putting you up elsewhere etc).

Taper now when you have a place to stay and support (easier than doing it when moving about and much easier and safer than simply stopping when you can't afford them)

Presumably the law is the same it is in England i.e. in a short term tenancy agreement they have to give you 2 months notice to quit unless its a 6 month contract/one year contract and your nearing the end date then its a bit or a grey area - go to CAB is the best bet.
If your job is fucking with you tell them your going to 'Watchdog' to report their shady dealings and screw them for as much as you can - 'Watchdog' scares firms cos if there on it they never make another sale (A mate was a researcher for them) and what they show is th etip of the iceberg with lots of firms paying off the 'whistleblower'.

Lol @ Watchdog. I think that would massively depend on who you work for. Any of my previous employers (Logistics, Retail, Banking, Civil Service) would have laughed hard at me if I'd said "I'm going to tell Anne Robinson on you".

'Watchdog' scares firms cos if there on it they never make another sale

Nonsense. Again, maybe some small business would give a fuck about this. One of my old employers was DSGi, I'm pretty sure all of their store brands will have been on Watchdog at some point, doesn't seem to be making any difference - as far as I know PC World still sell things.

not nonsense at all - the stuff he's told me is amazing alot of c.o's roll over and pay off a few grand as its harm reduction : )
