Bit OT I know, but that 'cobwebs on your face' feeling was always one of the more annoying side effects of my mushroom trips.. But yeah, an itchy nose (or rather an intense desire to rub your nose whilst talking down it in a false Scouse or Manc drawl) is dead common on gear.

Just curious, as I've never paid much attention to poppies despite my love of what they produce...

What be these, useful? Not so useful? Not that I intend on doing anything with them as I'm opiate abstinent and there's only a few there... I swear it officer..!

They look like Oriental poppies unfortunately, SM. It's those furry tops that are the giveaway. High thebaine content, apparently, so don't!

It's the spiky-topped ones you're looking for, and they generally flower a little later - around this time of year actually. A few near me have already dropped their petals, but the spikes aren't sticking up yet, so it's too early to harvest 'em.

I was led to believe that the ones you want are the pink ones.
All around my area,people have different colour poppies growing in their garden.My nan has huge red ones-but they are no good.There are also lots of orange ones-smaller flowers and often grow wild.Don't believe these to be any use either.
Would be cool if someone in the know can point out the correct poppies and heads and how to make the most of them
I was thinking of just collecting as many seed heads as possible.My dad has showed me how to get the seeds out and I know you need a lot.But I share my garden with my neighbours so it's a big garden but I only have relatively small areas to use,so I am thinking of just spreading these seeds all over the garden to get as many as possible.Slightly longer term project but if it turns up a good quantity of poppy heads for the following year and that I know what to do with them,then it's a worthwhile venture
 
Don't think colour matters (never has IME) - you just need to make sure they're somniferum, which are the most common garden variety anyhow. Google a pic and you'll see the difference between the ones in SM's photo (Oriental) and the ones you want, which have spiky tops.

They're absolutely everywhere.

Woke up today feeling groggy and half-asleep after a night smoking the lushest brown I've had in years. I have to get to work, but I'm knackered and drained. The coffee isn't even doing all that much, and I don't keep any 'real' stims around the house anymore.

So what do I do? Every reader of this thread will know the answer to that.

In work, feeling juuuuuuussssst fine. ;)
 
Well it finally happened bought an 1/8th fro 110 and it was like pre drought gear - shocked me as I took 45mg of phy then smoked .2 a few hours later and was gouching. He normally has decent stuff maybe 7/10 but this was a 8.5 at least 40% I'd say just hope there's alot of it about.
Im off to kabul , to the river and get me a g for $4 - did you see them preping the shots no citric no filter just claggy brown shit in the barrall - dont understand how they get high as the gear isnt broken down, unless it was all for the cameras - what? the bbc show propagander? surely not.
 
Does anybody else with a prior habit find that they can use for more than three days on the trot without getting any real withdrawal whatsoever?

I seem to be managing up to five days with only a few yawns and runny eyes to show for it. nothing like the actual withdrawal I've experienced on the couple of occasions where my dabbling has become too frequent. It's far, far less discomfort than I felt from coming off subs, in fact.

Is it because I've not had a long-term habit, or is it just a quirk of some people's body chemistry?

Course, there's every chance I'll wake up tomorrow having shit the bed, but I left it 16 hours since my last toot before having one just now, and it didn't feel like it was just to make me well, if you get what I mean.

Is the 3-day rule just a guide?
 
Also, the fact I've had long periods (sleep. work) away from the stuff might count in my favour too. A five-day non-stop IV binge would be pretty different I guess.
 
I 'detoxed' from subs/gear a good couple of weeks ago now and I still feel clucky as fuck and cant sleep at all, I do pass out every now and again for 1-2 hours though. The 3 day thing is rubbish really, yeah ok a sincere smack habit will peak at day 3-4 but you wont be magically better after then as some key workers would lead you to believe. I think a large part is down to length of your habit, I would say ever year of use will take a month to 'recover' I got a shit year ahead of me...

it's been at least 18years now and one thing I have definitely found is that the rattle gets harder every time.I so wish I had just stuck with it when I first felt sick and put 2 and 2 together and realised this was the 'cold turkey' I had read about.I could have coped back then,especially as that rattle would probably been over in a few days as you suggest.But every time I have tried,it has got worse,until I just gave up trying and realised I was destined to be an addict forever and to find a way that would be possible.I am now a forever addict and that is,as they say in the USA,'all she wrote'.
