I want to kill myself after dmt

good call.. a therapist would be something I would also not even consider missing out on.. meds are all good, but you will likely benefit greatly from addressing the way you think.. the way we think is more powerful than any drug... the only drugs that seem to come close do so because they alter the way we think.

may take a little time and effort but you will incorporate this and will likely be very happy with where you eventually find yourself.

Listen to amazing music, read the best literature, and look to the profound philosophers and profits of time..

Maybe 'meaning' in the sense you describe OP, is relevant only to ego. The 'I'.

The point of reference you are used to has changed to one of a more ego-less state. This would alter your perception when relating to others.

A short course of antipsychotics may give you time to have a 'think break' but they do also have side effects.

The sense i get from this thread is that you've experimented with the experiential philosophies of certain hallucinogens, while at the same time tried to cling to what you thought before. This dichotomy is in my opinion, one of the greatest reasons behind this kind of anxiety. I believe it can lead to depersonalization/derealization symptoms as your mind tries to make sense of it all. Your mind is limited by its own mechanisms.

You will be alright OP. Give things time. Good luck with seeing the doctor. If you want to private message me for support please feel free.

Hey :-)

Thanks man...you think there is hope?you think I will be alright?

Hey man, unfortunately sometimes psychedelics, especially powerful experiences, can trigger aftereffects in people, for many reasons. Try to stay calm and just to a psychologist/therapist, try to find one recommended so they can be useful to you. This person can help you to talk through the way you feel. Many times this type of feeling is triggered by something you have experienced rocking your world and your beliefs, and you are unwilling or unable to resolve it. This can cause anxiety because of either no longer thinking you know what's real, or because the new feelings go against a previously important belief. The internal conflict causes a wide ranger of profound symptoms both physically and mentally. Or for other complex reasons. This type of thing you are going to have to work through and resolve, which is why a therapist can help.

They may suggest you need a psychiatrist for some kind of medical diagnosis/medication. If this is the case, try not to be afraid. It's also possible something has happened in your brain physically as a result of the experience and the best course of action is medication. Many times this is temporary, and the medication for a couple of months or whatever has a healing/normalizing effect, and you can move on after that, not too much differently from how you get antibiotics to treat a bacterial infection. I mention therapist first because if this is just some kind of internal conflict manifesting itself,

Whatever the result, I believe you need to get professional help as soon as possible and certainly refrain from any more drugs until then (and for the love of god, don't get into opiates man, your life will get SO MUCH WORSE, trust me). The fact that after 3 months you feel this way means it's time to take action. I think you'll be okay if you do that. :)

Of Course you will be alright. You were alright before this. Your perspective has changed. You will adjust. You will be alright again.

Hey.

Nothing primarily,I saw a very bad dream about my mother dying and the doctor said that my organism is reacting to this by numbing all feelings etc

As I suspected, it's your body's response to trauma/stress. You need to give it time, and also work through it, and you will come out the other side fine. <3 That's certainly a very intense thing to experience, best of luck to you. I think you should speak with a therapist about it, and they can help you deal with your emotions and get you unblocked.

This^

I had a very bad experience (I posted this so many times here but I will post it again if you have not read some of my posts.) from an untested mdma in 2012 and had a really bad comedown for a year. I felt like I was recovering around month 11 then recovered on month 12. Based on my experience, I do think that our brains heal from all of this so you just have to give it enough time. Do not touch any drug and just let it heal.

Thanks for the response

Just snap out of it.
I perfectly know what you're talking about. Been there, done that.

Just take it as an immense experience and try to reintegrate what you experienced in your everyday life.

Take it as what it is. A drug that rewires your brain and distorts your senses and your conciousness. The DMT experience shows you possibilities of perceiving this world. You are free wether to take it as it is or just take what you want out of it. Reality is just your perception.
The truth is, you can not trust on anything. The truth is: You do not know wether your parents are real, or YOU are real. Even before you smoked the holy DMT.
But you were not aware. It opened your eyes and now you are confused.

Trust me brother, just take your time and stay away from psychedelics for a little longer. Chances are high that you will find a new way of perceiving the world in a manner you will like.
It's up to you, but maybe as time passes, you will realize, that you are the master of your perception and it's your mind that created the unique conciousness of this universe.

Do not kill the gift the almighty lord gave you, be thankful for your existence. It's all you got

Start looking for a QUALIFIED Psychiatrist!
You won't feel like going but go anyway. For your own safety I would NOT try any drugs OTC or not in an attempt to self-medicate you way out of this. It seems likely that your DMT trip triggered this but who can say for sure. The important thing is to find a doctor that knows what they are doing. You'd be amazed at the number of doctors that are of no help whatsoever. Focus on finding a good Psychiatrist, even if that means telling your parents, believe me, they'd rather have you alive and healthy than suffering like this in silence. I hope by the time you read this post you'll have already found a good Psychiatrist. Good Luck

I went to the psychiatrist. Seems like the dmt triggered some of the dp but it was actually triggered by extreme exam anxiety. I'm just patient,it gets good sometimes,it's not becoming worse for sure

That's a great way to look at it ! It only gets better from now on.
May I ask how you feeling today? Have you recovered from your DP?

As long as it's not getting worse, it will get better. The human mind and body is amazingly resilient. I can guarantee you'll feel better as time goes along. Just try to avoid stressful situations. Go out and do something that makes you happy, that isn't doing drugs :)
