Last night I was planning the end of a few week long run of IV methamphetamine (eating & sleeping though) I even have benzos ready for when I get mean.
But also a lot of bad stuff has happened. My dog died and some friends really hurt me.

So to the point I found a wallet with over $600 in it last night and had no intention of giving the mojey back because of all the times ive been hurt yet done nothing wrong. I know the person doesnt deserve it, but indo deserve something like this! Yes a lot of it has gone on meth but I really do plan for this to be the last run coz it was actually a good run so ill end on positivity.
What do you think?

All you ever really have control of is your integrity. The money belonged to someone else. Whatever you have suffered because of someone else doesn't really have anything to do with it.

I can totally imagine how tempting to keep $600 that seemingly fell from the sky but you will feel better about yourself if you return it. Your title says you don't feel bad but you did make the thread so I think there is a small part that does feel bad?

I would probably return it but then I don't need the money, I imagine if I did thenI'd have it in a second and wouldn't feel bad. If you can lose a wallet with 600 notes in it you're not going to be expecting it back, and you don't really deserve it either.

Ive had my lost wallet returned so many times. I do feel bad, theres about $250 left so I think I might return it like that.

I would return it without the money. That way they get there ID, bank and credit stuff back. But with most the money spent it will just look bad on you. Then again I'm no saint either

Keep the money and give back the rest. Once I was in Chicago begging the people who impounded my car to reduce the price since i was indigent. i said indigent to everyone.
so after a fruitless argument i got up to leave and they said, ¨¨Hey, you forgot all your moneeey (they knew I didnt have any money, thats why I was there) and then she tossed a huge wad of bills at me. Probably about 2000 dollars.
Instinctively, I threw the money in her lap and told her not to test me like that, that it was fucked up to do that.

I did the right thing, but immediately after I felt like such a sucker because after that I had to walk home in the pissing rain with no money for the bus...

Now I totally regret not keeping the cash.

ps, Im on a Spanish language keyboard so thats why my post is all fucked up.

Keep the cash and give the rest back. Most would do the same and i sure as fuck would.

id return the money even if i was dirt poor, i dont like the individualistic notion that only "me" matters, i think if you steal from someone else your ultimately stealing from yourself

same with hurting someone else, your hurting yourself imo

Yes but in this economy it's every cunt for themselves. At first i thought by the thread title that he had like killed someone or something lol

That's a pretty shitty thing to do mate honestly. Hope you made good use of it. I'm sure whoever lost would rather get the cards and dox back rather than not get anything. You could always say you found it empty.

Yeah definitely return the rest of the wallet for sure. I once had my wallet stolen or I lost it, not sure which, fortunately I only had like $30 in there but they mailed it back with everything else in it and a letter of apology, overall my perception of that event is now quite positive. :)

I'd probably still be a little pissed about $600, but what's done is done, best for your own sake to operate like you found it empty since you already took most of it. The IDs and cards and stuff are probably more important to the person.

^this, OP how would you feel that wallet was yours? Don't you think you'd be pissed too? If you think that you don't feel bad then I would be sure tht you will if you put yourself in the guy's shoes.

Lost my wallet literally 2 nights ago, went back and found it 5 hours later in a gutter where i had been jogging, full of cash, untouched, beforehand i was distraught at the fact that i had to replace my many licences cancel my credit cards wait for new cards to be sent, it pretty much puts your entire life on hold, and if your already having a tough time of things its the last thing you want, Just admit that your desire to use that dudes money on drugs was greater than your desire to do the right thing, Any case, its still better to use the dudes money on drugs and give the wallet back then not give the wallet back at all.
