Opies are lifestyle drugs. You can take them day and night without anybody else knowing. Kinda like your own lil Ready Brek glow to make the day fly by in supreme comfort. They're almost anti-hedonism cos they're not exactly what you'd call euphoric unless you're injecting anyway. And then they're become a bit less practical for day to day use so you save the big doses for when nobody is around and you have nothing to do... but need the smaller ones to keep ticking over in between. If you ever wondered what the definition of a vicious circle is...
 
Looking back - would any users say - try it if your curious ?

It (the same with any addictive substance) has the ability to grab you very quickly and not let go.

Most addicts of a drug think the same though ? People get very clever of hiding their use - get clever with excuses etc?
 
Try smack if you're curious? Fuck no. One of the dullest drugs on Earth. Of all things to be addicted to it really is a depressing waste of time and money. Go for one of the pricier, harder to find opies if you want to try the opi thing for kicks. Heroin is far too easy to drift into regular use. At least with oxy you can't realistically afford to fund a habit nor get enough of it regularly enough to drift into one. If you want to try heroin assume at least a decade of addiction will come as a matter of course.

EDIT: I mean that you really can't tell if somebody is on smack unless they're actually nodding. Booze stinks, makes you sloppy and stagger about. Same with benzos only without the whiff. Stims you can spot a mile off. No other drug is as stealth as opies.
 
How would you compare smack to oxy? found oxy very unfunctionable... i know your not a fan of booze... it does indeed stink and make people sloppy and stagger... mixed right with stims though and its a proper nice balance
 
Wasn't commenting on effects, simply how easy or hard those effects are to mask in public. Booze is far harder to hide than opies.

I find oxy and heroin fairly similar myself. Both at the speedier end more euphoric end of the opiate spectrum - I actually enjoy both of 'em which is not necessarily the case (as such) with most opies. Heroin has a heavier nod - much heavier nod - but feels pretty similar initially in terms of energy, rushes and generally feeling godly.

Suddenly it doesn't sound like "one of the dullest drugs on earth" from your previous post anymore!

I've tried heroin thrice, with many years in between. Good quality, conveniently home-delivered.
Snorted it each time but didn't like it all that much. Fairly pleasant opiate buzz but not so special.. I found pod tea almost as nice as snorted heroin and longer lasting too. Had the dealers number but lost it on purpose after a few months. I don't like the heroin end-user market here at all, it is pretty repulsive.

I like most opiates but only as a low-dosage mood lift, I simply don't enjoy the gouch. My current opiate of choice is codeine.

What's the AH I've looked at that thread but I can't possibly read through all that I've a headache.
I read something about IV and as interesting as IV seems, I'm not going there. Does this stuff not come in pill form?

Hang on, am I allowed to enquire about drugs or does that class as.... well something against the rules? Just clarifying as I don't want another infraction lol or worst still, being kicked off the site.

Yes I did but not gotten around to doing any PMs so far today.

Don't bother with AH-wotsit. It's vaguely similar to bupe or codeine - weaker than bupe, feels like codeine, costs more than either of 'em, worse withdrawal than the pair put together. Of all the drugs you could branch out into AH-wotsit would be about as poor a choice as you could make in every way imaginable. Only practical way to take the stuff is chased as one would chase heroin - pills would be ineffective given it barely works orally.

And of course you can enquire about drugs - this is a drug info site ;)

The dullest drug on Earth bit relates specifically to once addicted cos you'll never feel that way again once you are. Strictly only happens during the getting to know you phase. Like many things in life, it seems like a good idea at the time cos it really is that good... then you have to live with it 24/7 and it does fuck all other than make you miserable and cost you money. On a good day.

I used to pay $257 for 112 codeine I can't anything being more expensive than that....

£5,000 in overdraft and credit card being the result.... BASTARDS!!!! lol

Oh I didn't think you could get oxy in the UK anyway.
I wouldn't mind trying AH but need to know how I use the stuff or if you can get a pill of it? I'm coming off subs soon. I'm down to 8 mg now :) So wanting to get some opiates soon for the good times.

You're prescribed one of the most potent and pleasing opies there is. Why on Earth would you want to stop taking it to take shittier opiates that cost more?
 
Just read though all the replies. The thing is that despite what everyone says I think I would still try heroin - in the right situation and the right frame of mind, of course. And possibly not until I'm quite a bit older/more mature. The thing is, I know what you all mean about addiction creeping up on you - even though I only got into hard drugs (or drugs at all :P) last October at the beginning of this year I realised I was having a bit of a problem with coke (went from every couple of weeks - every weekend - every few days - most days etc.) but as soon as I noticed I just stopped and now I'm back to only using it occasionally. As they're both strong drugs, both class A's, I don't see why it wouldn't be the same with heroin? Or is there just something about it which destroys your will power/common sense?
 
The big difference is physical addiction. You don't get that with coke. With opies you get the same level of psychological addiction only with the added bonus of physical dependence. Not an ideal combo. The latter is why you can't just quit with willpower which is perfectly doable with coke.

Aye, same here, not tried AH but kratom/codeine give me enough of an idea.. can't risk touching owt stronger at this point. Actually, what age do you guys think is too old to be taking heroin and not be massively risking one's health?
 
Fair enough. I didn't consider the physical side of it. Like I said, it's not something I would dive into without an awful lot of consideration beforehand. I think I'm more of a stim person anyway though, they just sit better with my personality. Even though I don't have any close friends that do drugs (other than weed :P) I like the sociable side of stims more than just sitting on my own feeling fucked (although that can be nice occasionally).
