Gibberings CLXVII - Mountains of Shit Day in Day Out

My workmate got beaten up by some nutter who cut him up in an aggressive and careless overtaking manouvre, he made a 'fucking dickhead' gesture at the guy, only for them both to have to stop shortly thereafter at the next set of lights where the psycho proceeded to "step out of the vehicle" and punch the shit out of my colleague. The nutter had a record for that type of thing apparently, my workmate also has a record for being extremely unlucky and accident prone when it comes to all things health and accidents (you name it, it's happened to him).

I sometimes get a bit too disinhibited and pull faces and make rude gestures towards other drivers who have annoyed me, i should probably reign this sort of thing in a bit, though it feels good to immediately release anger rather than hold on to it, or one day im probably gonna find myself at the wheel with some nutter swinging a baseball bat through my side window. I think caffeine is a partial culprit, makes me extremely impatient behind the wheel.

One thing i do like about Manchester drivers is if that anyone does an angry "BEEEEEEEP!!!!!!" at them, they just do the same thing straight back, does this happen anywhere else, (ive never seen it anywhere else in the uk though European drivers seem to use the horn way more often than UK drivers when its generally saying "that made me fucking angry") or is it just a Manc thing where they will never tolerate being beeped even if their driving thoroughly deserved it?

Thats the problem - people with hammers, bats, knives axes etc. Normally easier to keep you mouth shut but today I wasn't having any of it :D
 
Funny you should say that, ive done the same thing and very nearly got a smacking at traffic lights haha... me and my mate were driving through the city and this guy and his mate cut me up... beeped my horn... he pulled into tescos on the left and i slowed down and leaned across my mate and shouted you fucking wanker... he turned around and stuck his foot down and booted it after me so dropped it down a gear and stuck my foot down... then we came to traffic n i had to slow down... he was swerving and beeping behind me... came to traffic lights n i was like oh shit here we go... was gonna floor it, handbrake turn it around in the middle of the road and hammer it back up the other way but there was too much traffic.... and this steroid built massive fucker came out of his car with his mate... i was about 20 at the time... hungover... dont think ive apologized so much in all my life haha... had my window down and was very much expecting a fist through and a smacking... got a load of verbal abuse and then he sorta laughed and got back in his car

And Bear i was beginning to get paranoid that i had accidentally offended or annoyed you or something and that you werent talking to me, until now. But yeah a driver plus seven security guards is a bit much to take on, they might have been carrying a VIP or a lot of cash or been some sort of Mafia or something, not the best choice for a road rage incident. :D

I read today that Tracey Emin is selling off her bed art piece,I'd be interested in buying it but she would have to make the bed & tidy it up a bit first

love finding bits and pieces of drug soaked bacca lying round one advantage of being a slob and not cleaning up properly for last 2 years its clean but bacca gets every fucking where so do cat hairs and its easier just wait till the is enough kicking around too use :)

She sold it over a decade ago. Charles Saatchi bought it and is now reselling it for ~10x the original price. Not a bad profit for something most don't seem to even accept as art. Eye of the beholder and all that. Always rather liked it myself, although far too clean and tidy to count as a properly dutty bed by any standard I'm aware of.

Hello! I will reply to your PM probably in the next day <3 Drugs and drink and work and whatnot.

Just had the idea suggested to me of having new gf move in to mine, assuming all is still well with us in August. I know all the old adages about lesbians but it's still quite a nice thought. She's stupidly organised and stops me doing stupid stuff. Usually. Obviously a pipe dream atm but seeing how it goes. Just be cheap as shit for her, I get use of a car and we got more money to go out.

Quality comment from Mum 'it might be a while before we can fit a 3/4 bed in that back room so she can sleep with you and do whatever it is that you two do...'

I sometimes start off beep wars at traffic lights, just do your horn and other people will follow suit. Usually get quite a few people involved if you do it a few times. Quite amusing :D
