Adderall Question!

Okay so if you've seen my other posts, you'd know that I haven't had good experiences with Adderall. I've only tried it a few times, taking it in 15-20mg dosages. I took 30mg once the very first time I tried it and had a bad experience. On friday I decided fuck it and took 45mg. I took 2 tums before and parachuted a 30mg pill and then chewed 15mg (split a 30mg pill in half). To my surprise, I actually had a good experience. My mind was clear and I was in a good mood. I had light euphoria and little side effects. Just some mild anxiety. So I want to try 55-60mg hoping to get some intense euphoria. My question is, is this safe? I haven't taken Adderall much at all and I'm not sure why it took a high dosages (considering I rarely take Adderall) to experience mild(ish) effects from it. Do you think if I took that much I'd experience more euphoria or do you think I would just have a bad time? I'm planning on parachuting it and taking 2 tums beforehand. Also, what should I take to help with the probable horrible comedown?

Also, I'm male and weigh around 160 pounds. My tolerance should be pretty low but it's not considering the few times I've taken it.

I really would not keep jacking up your amphetamine tolerance, because once a honeymoon phase is over with amphetamines, it is pretty much over for good. But, even in the name of harm reduction, I would not go up to near 60 mg. I would not even advise someone with virtually no tolerance to take more than maybe 30 mg in the instant-release form, and even then I would advise lower for a good time, even if the individual wanted a strong amphetamine experience. Honestly, I don't know why 45 mg did not bring about stronger effects, positive or negative, but then I don't understand how your prior experiences unfolded the way they did. It seems you and amphetamines just don't click. I would really suggest you look at the situation as it is right now. Also, be safe - always be safe, always know what you are doing, always be in control.

of course 60 mg is fine, for me 20 mg gave me euphoria for 2 years or so, the more I started taking daily 30-70 mg - the more it became just "bad" i started overcompensating with other drugs for the comedown, and bam 7 years later and I shift from 90 mg adderall daily to meth use and Its not funny or cute anymore at all.

The dose is fine, it is very hard to OD on. You may get palpitations or anxiety but if you are eating it that is unlikely.

If you take it for a few days consecutively, the euphoria will seem to suddenly vanish on about the 5th or 6th day of dosing. Raising the dose will not bring it back, unless you take much more than you should (which you should not do).

You should abstain from dosing for a week at the very least. A month would be more optimal, if you have the willpower. The longer you abstain, the more you can lower the dose (down to maybe 20-30 mg). Then take a dose every other day, or twice a week.

If you continue to raise the dose, you will still be increasing your tolerance, even if you are not achieving the desired effects. Eventually, you will require a six month to year break to "reset." Even then, your body will recognize the drug and also recognize its resistance to it more promptly.

Using antacids will also raise your tolerance, as will the use of alternate routes of administration.

As for the crash: using amphetamine regularly is simply an up-and-down experience, even for those with ADHD. I only ever used a little bit of beer when I took Adderall, but I can't genuinely recommend this. I had also been on gabapentin for a few years before I started Adderall, so my normal dose of that probably helped with the comedown. I can't genuinely recommend this either.

If you have a prescription, follow it. Believe it or not, doctors often know what they are doing, but I realize that they don't often explain things thoroughly to patients.

I'm not prescribed it and I rarely take it. Last time I took was probably like a month before and it was probably around 15mg. I've tried it like a total of 5 times my whole life and they were low dosages. The only time I ever felt any euphoria or any of the effects other people claimed to get was when I took 45mg. It was just a light euphoria though. I'm guessing I naturally just have a higher tolerance than normal. This seems to be the case with almost all drugs I've tried actually.

My apologies. I was under the impression that it may be a self-induced tolerance. It's rare but some people naturally have an innate resistance to certain drugs.
If you keep your doses few and far between, you could probably dose up to 60 mg and get away with it. However, iif you get to that dose and don't experience desirable effects, I would hang it up.

Also, I second the suggestion to try a dexamphetamine-only preparation, like Dexedrine or Vyvanse. For some, the physical effects of the L isomer clash with the D.

Okay thank you. I don't have any connections to Dexedrine but I can get Vyvanse.

I can also tell you that Vyvanse sucks, and I'm not the only one who thinks so. I have never tried dexedrine, however.

Dexedrine is the best other than Desoxyn. You must complete your pharm-speed experimentation and try it.
