Do you have a canal near you?
Not that I know of. Lots of rivers though. Well, the Dyfi which is either really rather big or barely a trickle depending which bit you are at. It's also stupidly frikkin cold even in summer.
Do you have a canal near you?
Aye, I've not been around as much as I've been outdoors a bit more. Things are lovely though, thanks! Shall post some photos at some point.Hey Swamps, it's been ages since I've seen you here.
How are you doing?
Sorry, what? I can't hear you because you're on ignore.
(Hate that I need to say this but obviously am joking.. no need to start up an appreciation thread or owt..)
yea... My Mam used to live in Bala n never spoken English until she was 16. Seriously.
I'm looking at these links bloody word 2010 is interfering with things. When I type a link in the Bluelight post area it works but because I typed it n word 2010 n it turned into a bloody hyperlink it messed things up. So what I've got to do is type every link in a BL box in full then copy/paste the whole thing into word, save, and then when a member needs a link copy/paste it to them in a list. So will be sorting it out tomorrow...
Maybe I should have saved it in notepad, not word 2010? Anyone know as this is extremely important.
Thanks
Evey xxxx

I haven't used Windows in years but if notepad will allow it to be pasted in regular plain text you should be fine. If not just save the email I sent you and use that as where you go to retrieve the codes from. I'm confident that the way I sent them to you was perfect in it's formatting so if you just take them right out of the email you shouldn't run into a single problem.
I'm bored send drugs now.....................................................................................................................

Found out recently my mother couldn't speak a word of English when she moved to London with family as a child. Held her back a lot at school apparently (and unsurprisingly). She was from South Wales too where Welsh isn't even that widely spoken even today where there's been a bit of a renaissance of Welsh speaking across the country and is taught as standard at school. She was pretty rural but is kinda strange to think that even so (relatifvely) recently there were parts of Wales which really were completely their own country with English not being spoken at all.
I've heard of Bala (and Barmouth) but couldn't point to 'em on a map. My Welsh geography is atrocious
I won't name the place I was thinking of that sits in a permacloud but it is widely-known across at least a big chunk of Wales for it's unfeasibly Welsh climate cos everyone I've come across seems to have heard of it and know its reputation. I live in a rather famously historic bit of Wales but also tiny so try not to be overly overly specific too often. Small towns and all that.
Is it really? Im quite surprised by that.
but Laika has helped me n I'll never forget that ever...
It comes from years spent modding NMI. If someone is trying to help out around there and needs a hand I don't mind helping at all. It took a while to figure out what the problem was but once I pinned it, it was just a series of highlighting and deleting unnecessary bits. I wouldn't have offered my services if I wasn't confident that I could fix the issue I probably wouldn't have offered. I'm glad it's working for you now! You were stressing way too hard for me to not try and help. Your stress vibes were reaching across the pond and drawing me into EADD which I suppose is out of character.
WOW you modded MNI???? Really?
Yup. From early 2009 through late 2012/early 2013 if I recall correctly.
Thank you for the kind words![]()
