Gibberings CLXVI - You go away for a weekend...

Manchester's full of beautiful women in nice dresses, whereas I'm full of resentment and bitterness.
Next time I'm up your end with any time to kill, I'll seek you out .....

And seeing other people in nice dresses is much worse when, for logistical reasons (big heavy sweaty rucksack with no room left in it), one is forced into boyclothes.

Beautiful day for sure :) Its even tempted me out of the house into the garden..

Think I may even have a go at the lawn, probably run out of energy 5 mins in and leave it 1/3 done...

Start a new job Monday, landed on my feet with this one, no travelling, very good wage and looks like a possible 6 months... Things are looking up, just hope I'm right for my first day, a sweating, moaning and groaning lazy junkie isnt what they'll be expecting ;)

Enjoy your days EADD :) and Sammy, soon be clocking off time and you can spend a sunny weekend with the fine women of Manchester...!

^ Talking a shit in tesco WTF! What is wrong with some people, not to mention she ain't even wiped! lol What a wrongan!

I'm offended that you didn't automatically seek me out, y'know? ;)

Commiserations on the boyclothes. On days like this I really wish I still had the guts and self-belief to carry off a skirt.

Yeah, not all that long to go! :)

Best of luck for Monday btw. Not that we want Monday to come anytime soon...

Drugs are so unavailable in Aussie that I'm having to resort to wine to get fucked. What's the world come to?

Jesus I haven't been on BL in fucking forever, how are people?

Oh man, I'm actually surprised at how happy I am to hear from you guys. I now realised I've missed bluelight!

Wine? :?

Wine? 8o

Good to see you're alive and well, Pagey. Shame about the druglessness. If you find some drugs, do you reckon you could send me some?

I know! The shame :(
hah, I would do mate but I'd like to spend my life out of prison if I can manage it. You've no idea how fucking strict they are about drugs here. Although I did find the best acid of my life and I'm going shroom picking soon! =D

Good god wine :(

Good to see ya anyway, having fun in Aus?

Yeaaaah it's been up and down - bit of a breakdown the other day which landed me in hospital but other than that it's all good. I've got a few trips planned, a week-long trek in the Tasmanian mountains in about a month which I'm really excited about. If any of you have the chance to make it down under some day please take it, this place is incredible.

How've the two of you been doing?

Ouch, sorry to hear that. Glad all is good otherwise tho, week long trek sounds awesome, I know so many people who have been but it's the wildlife that keeps putting me off :( Would love to go.

I've been doing good ta. Acquired new girlfriend so been spending past week at her's actually socialising and life is generally good. Met a lot of new people, just been good. Can't believe I've been reclusive for so long. Just panicking cos I've got essays in and done fuck all but it'll get done no worries, will just be last minute but it's how I work. How long you got left Down Under?

Aaaw no don't let the wildlife put you off! Seriously it's not that bad. I've not seen a single dangerous animal in or around Sydney, you do have to go to the actual outback to see anything so if you stick to the cities down south it's fine. And there's plenty to see there! You should go snolly, it's the freeest place on earth :)

Glad to hear you're doing well! That's put a smile on my face :) I'm sure you'll manage to get all the work done fine in the end! Got about 6 or 7 weeks left - feels bittersweet cuz on the one hand I want to get back to Europe to see my fiancé, family and friends, but on the other this has just been the best experience of my life. mrcientist and I are actually seriously considering moving here permanently one day!

Reasonable, thanks. Give or take the odd family death here and there, but that shit happens. I'm trying not to use it as an excuse for a disastrous binge. :D

Glad you're getting something out of Australia rather than just pining for your loved ones. It'd be a real shame otherwise!

Fuck Sammy, I'm sorry. Sending you my love and I'm impressed you've not let it set you back <3

Yeah, I'm alternating between the two a lot (esp. cuz mrcientist came to visit for a month and just left a couple weeks ago!), but hey, how many times in my life will I have this kinda opportunity?! :)

I saw that link you posted you're not fooling me. Although I guess I could man a city, and some of the animals are also cute. You're making me wanna go now! Going away in August but suspect it will be slightly less further afield, given I have no passport :(

And thanks :) I'm really happy for once, like, without antidepressants. Clicked instantly :) Yeah work will be fine, I can always resit and I've been doing well enough all year so far just hate it looming, but then, I guess I'm free til like mid October =D Ah 6/7 weeks still a while, prob fly by tho as usually does, bittersweet yeah def know what you mean. Permanent move would be pretty sweet, god knows how you'd even begin to plan that though, I found it hard enough moving down the road. Debating a move somewhere less English at some point in the future but it'll be a while yet. Or maybe soon. Dunno!

Hah! DOn't worry, I bet it scared me just as much as it did you. All those dreadful creatures are up north though, stick south and you're good.
And google wombats, they'll make you wanna visit be it just to rub their tummies <3

That's awesome - good for you for getting off antidepressants, seriously. Doing that at the minute myself and I'm so happy to have to horrible meds out of my system, so honestly, I'm proud of you for it and it's not just the wine talking.
Never give up on a move! I know it's difficult (moved from Paris to London which was easy enough, but London to SYdney was something else!), btu it's always worth it. You gotta set yourself the goals you really want. Honestly, I believe that if you're strong enough to quit the shit that is anti-depressants, you're strong enough to do pretty much anything :) <3

Yeah man it was horrifying haha! South it is then. And omg wombats are the best I was only saying the other day I want one. Also a sloth. I dunno if they're an Aussie thing but I want one.

And cheers, sucked a bit but honestly too high a dose, made me a zombie and couldn't get out of bed and so just going with CBT when I can get in and the prospect of being naturally happy, ha. Good on ya for getting off your's too, it is shite but it's good to feel kinda 'clean' again. Last bit is good to hear <3 Can quit that, I did benzos (stupidly) cold turkey last year, so what's stopping me doing owt else? Except the passport obviously, tho can you not travel to EU countries on a UK driving license? I keep hearin different stuff about that. Ideally I'd be in Spain or France in a few years but who knows?

Edit: Realistically I could have a passport way before then but apparently gf wants to go to Amsterdam in July and I doubt I'll man one before then

Hey Pagey, you been or going to Byron Bay??

Plenty of magic mushrooms to be had there, or so Mrs Mist says, she travelled through there, basically a load of hippies there and a very lapsed attitude to drug consumption by the law.

Also very beautiful beaches and all round great place by the sounds of it......

I thought they were mad for meth over there, not that its a particularly good idea to start using as itd no doubt become a habit if there's a lack of other options. I think the mushrooms are definitely the right way to go, just need a few ounces =D

Have fun :)

Im trying to remember how much my mate said he was offered a gram of coke for, I think it was £150> £200... not sure what that is in $..

I should look into emigrating, I know there's plenty of jobs in my line of work and the lack of drugs could be very beneficial ;)

Doesn't everyone go on drug holidays to Bali anyway?
