What is the TC thread...? Man what a small world since I had a spiritual awakening it's crazy the life coincidences I see... A buddy called me just got of of the gateway program I was in and got drunk. I was supportive and told him as long as he did not get that bag of dope, drink some water and get a good night rest in your bed. Man I knw he should not of gone home.
What r your thoughts on alcohol.?. Personally I am staying away from it and before would just have a beer here and there really was not a trigger for me. But I can see getting drunk and saying fuck it just as much as being sober.
Yea, chinky is in jail. lilczey called up his uncle when he saw us posting about being concerned since we hadn't seen him post in a while, and he said that he had gotten locked up and they were going to try to bail him out, but that apparently didn't happen.northsideboy

fantom - my thought is if you want to stay clean, then don't pick up that drink. i know we all have different ways of explaining "being clean" and I'm not gonna argue those definitions - but, fact is, if you have a drink or two, get a little buzz (that you might not even know) going, before you know it, you're drunk, driving around in your underwear, trying to pawn shit and looking to score dope. OR it takes a little longer, cause you're like, hey 1 beer wasn't so bad, then a week later, after having a few here and there, all of a sudden it's friday, you get paid, you have a few beers and hey - i can handle a bag or two, right? then you're drunk and get arrested, or worse you pick up and overdo it.
That's only my thought tho - I wouldn't advise it.
I can distinctly remember getting drunk on a relapse, wanting to grab some dope, all I could get was hard, so I spent the night smoking hard, drinking vodka and trying to do electrical work on my house. Not one of my brighter moments...I was tracing circuits by tripping live breakers with a screwdriver. in between hits. I don't really think I accomplished anything, and I could have easily electrocuted myself.

My thoughts on alcohol are such fantom. That is the last thing you want to be doing cause(and this is just for me)it lowers my judgement and inhibitions and what happens to me is that I can never think all the way through something. In other words, I get more impulsive and before I know it I'm on the train to West side. For me alcohol is a fucking demon in regards to dope. Once I start drinking I already know where I'm going right off the bat. It just becomes harder for me to talk myself out of shit that I want to do but shouldn't. Don't do it man, substitution usually leads us back to our drug of choice.
Maaaan, the hawks last night...eh, whatever, Friday is the next game.

Finally got permission from the county house arrest to go get my shit from Police lock up. I must be a complete idiot because I was planning on going to cop and had the whole thing planned out. I told the bitches on the phone that I was taking public trans. all the way from N.suburbs to Chi...(that's a nice long day)but planned on driving out there and taking care of business and then going to get my property. So I would have the whole day to myself...copping, going out to eat, etc....LOL! The only flaw with my plan was the fact that the county had my phone and #s, I would have to stroll the block. I ran that shit past my G/f, she called me a moron and wound up driving me.
Back home on lock down. "Damn you wretched wentch!!!"
I can't talk shit since I'm staying at her house on house arrest.
im glad he is still alive. hopefully he learned a lesson....er something, i dunno man he probably got locked up for some bullshit but im sure he had some part in it.

He was on probation for weed I don't remember if it was posession or distribution but it was probably a felony ammount knowing him. If I remember right he also had prior drug (weed) charges too. So if he got with dope or pissed hot or anything to violate the judge probably made an example out of him. He didn't work not that he needed to but the courts like to see people with a job. Having a job may or may not have helped him. I know every time I went in front of a judge they were always happier that I worked. I've seen them lecture people that didn't work. Some one already said it but you got to play the game according to their rules the court don't like it when we try to prove them wrong.

That's why I haven't drank since Xmas. I did dope everytime I drink liquor if I had the money or could get it. And also I made a horrible habit if drinking 100 proof liquor after railing dope. I love drinking as much as the next guy but I can't do it and not become a total dope head, along with being a alchy. I do smoke weed everyday, unless I run out and can't get more or something but that diesbt make me crave dope whatsoevernorthsideboy

I remember when Chinky disappeared, and the one dude posted something like "RIP" then tried to explain he didn't mean THAT, he meant remanded in prison or some nonsense...but my point is, if any of you know Chinky's real name, you can look him up on the Cook County website. I'm sure with the lack of resources, they don't keep that page up to date or very accurate, but you can search inmate by name or number. I've tried in the past (not for chink, idk his name) and the search always came back negative. so either I misspelled my boy's name, or they didn't enter him in the database, or he was BS'ing me.
I also have no idea, and they don't explain it, if the database is for everyone, or just people that got convictions, or what. It seems to be the most useless thing possible, which is not surprising knowing Cook County.
If anyone here has a better idea on how it works, I'm all ears - and someone that knows the Chink-o could try looking for him.
And yeah itchy - the Hawks screwed that game up. They should be all over Minnesota, but they play hot and cold a lot this playoff season, it's not confidence inspiring, for sure.northsideboy

that's the inmate locator. they also refer to unsentenced inmates, which leads me to think it meant to include everyone. but honestly, they can't keep the place clean, staffed, safe, etc., so I don't think the webmaster and database are high on their list of priorities.

and no I don't want Chinky dead but do any of you really miss his incoherent ramblings or the insults hurled at every new poster that would have the gall to post in 'his' forum without having first developed a good rapport with him? The conversation has been much more cordial since he stop posting, albeit slower, and I for one support his forced time out

Hey NB, I think they update that site every day(not sure what time) and yeah, they do post your mug shot, bail amount and next court date, oh yeah, and the charge.
Yes, they do post your info eventhough you have not been convicted(if you were booked you are posted) Unfortunately the reason I know, is because my hung-over mug is on there right now for pos.

I was wondering if anybody else has had an experience where when I do a buch of dope, my face right under my eyes and on my cheeks gets really red(kind of like a rash) and in the next couple of days my skin turns really dry and starts flaking off(kind of like a sunburn). I always thought its b/c I'm constantly rubbing my face but I noticed that even when I make a concious effort not to touch my face it still happens, sometimes less, sometimes more. Somebody in here mentioned dope cut with Niacin...but I'm sure I'm not getting Niacin cut bags everytime I cop. Idk, can't ask anyone else cause don't know anyone else that does dope.
Off topic but why can't I piss when I'm high? No matter how much I drink.
Is any of that shit normal?

Yeah, thanks good to know I'm not the only one with that problem. lol!...dropping cigs...into my hightop gym shoes with no socks!lmao!(not funny at the time) or so many times standing up trying to take a piss and BAP! Got a knot on my head from hitting the wall in front of me, like "WTF!" I was always worried about it healtwise cause holding your piss for like 3 days just doesn't seem normal.
