Tbf I don't think you can place the blame solely at Mourinho's door, when you have a team of forwards that refuse to put the ball in the back of the net you have to make do and mend. Saturday was a masterpiece.

I'm pulling for chelski purely because my old man's a fan (used to play for the U21s).

Not the only one by any means. Is the footy thread dead? Not having a dig - Gibberings is for gibberings of all types - but does seem the best place for footy talk if there's important things occurring in footy world (I presume there must be cos we don't normally have score updated in Gibberings).

I was quite the athlete/sportsman when I was younger to... drugs and music saw to that though ;)
 
My facebook newsfeed gets rammed full of it when theres footy on, alot of people i know are into it... boxing, motorsports and few other things i quite like, never seen the fuss about football tho... people get so wound up about "their team", overpaid fucking fairys messing about with a ball, (granted i quite like the skill involved, the footwork etc, apart from that couldnt really care)

it baffles me how much money is involved in that shite, and footballers all over front page news and whatever, as if thats the most important thing going on in the world right now out, fukushima power plant leaking 100s of tonnes of radiation into the sea and do we hear about it, nope, but we get hammered with news about talentless bellend celebritys, crazy society

Not at all. I can't think of anything that interests me less.

Snooker on the other hand. Interesting last session of the world champs quarter final match between Trump and Robertson about to resume from the mid session interval. Thought Robertson would have cleaned up but Judd has held on to the lead and is looking in good form so it's still anyone's. Would like to see Robertson get a century to make it 100 in the season, he's already smashed the previous record of 61 (which Trump held incidentally).

Oh yeah, the snooker thread :p

Oh I fully agree people tend to care way too much about football and there is plenty more important stuff out there, which I occupy myself with during the day. Watching a match is a perfect way of unwinding after a long day though.

No football in my FB feed at all.. today it seems to be mostly photos of food, photos of cacti, people getting new tattoos and music spam.
