ColtDan Is More Of An Alright Guy Who Takes Too Many Drugs Appreciation Thread

Its fucking annoying the way youtube enforced that link up with gmail. If i want to post any youtube vids I'll now have to see if google and you tube will let me create a second account without my real name on it. Not that i even have anything illegal in my possesion at the moment but some form of anonymity and privacy seems desirable on here. I wish id fimed myself practicing pool the other day, i was flying, a high percentage of shots were going in and i was cueing very well. I think i cleared the table in about 90 seconds. I'd have liked to have had that on film, those moments where everything goes perfect dont happen often enough.

One grass at work used to print off any negative statements made about work and show them to HR, knowing full well this could lead to the person getting sacked. He also grassed up anyone who said anything negative about management and helped create a really hostile, awkward, paranoid environment. I didnt know whether to tell the guy who had been grassed up who the culprit was, as he might have done something he would regret. When the grass did it a second time i didnt hesitate to tell him who the culprit was, for his own protection, so that he'd know when to keep his opinions to himself.
 
Might be a good idea to create a new facebook page specifically for employers' prying eyes. I'm sure there are people out there with the same idea you could add for a believable friend count. Stick some appropriate photos up, like some pages that make you look good etc.

Iirc you can change the date on things you post so it wouldn't look like it had all been made in one day as well.

Then just leave the privacy settings partially open so they can have a good snoop.
 
No according the one of those links that ben posted they were wanted user names n passwords. And there'd be NO WAY I'd have an employer as a friend. Your employer doesn't escort you around after work to check on you - so why online? It's disgusting. What happened to happened to privacy? Big Brother more like!

I guess i could delete all the posts i made on FB during my phenazepam phase, none of them put me in a good light. Apart from that things look quite respectable, pictures of the lake district and stuff like that. You can hide certain posts from certain people, it annoyed me when my mother complained about not wanting to know or read certain things, why the hell did she 'friend me' on FB then if she didnt want to know. I now have to hide many posts from her. Pain in the arse.
 
Someone from this board, in the past, allegedly (though with overwhelming evidence to say it definitely did happen) showed posts on this board from a member to that members workplace management in order to get them sacked. And that member did indeed get sacked.
 
Facebook - who needs it eh, SHM? ;)

I heard Facebook have ghost profiles for folk who don't have one like me. I know I'm tagged in photos and I keep getting weird stalkerish emails from them asking me to join with a bunch of old friends in it. They know loads about me already and I don't even have a profile.

Yeah, I've heard that some of them request the password too. I keep my FB strictly unprofessional and probably 90% of my friends on there are drug-using wrong'uns, so there's nooo way I'd let a prospective employer see it. Bit worried when I quit my job as I know a lot of my colleagues will want to add me, but that's not going to happen. :|

I've currently deactivated my Facebook as someone on my friends list has stabbed me in the back by repeating statuses n got me into trouble. Facebook really isn't worth it when your friends list can't be trusted n one cannot have a good ol' rant in peace.

So I've deactivated it.

Why dont you just unfriend said person and make your profile private? No need to deactivate the whole thing just coz of one idiot
