Gibberings CLXI: The Numerals are Probably Wrong, The Words Within Most Certainly Are

On another note, I had a paramedic crew round last night because I 'felt' short of breath for almost 3 hours whilst taking some of that evil Meph... they checked my O-Sats, temperature, blood sugar & blood pressure, telling me I had nothing obvious wrong with me. I decided not to go to the hospital (they were just a response team, they would have had to have got another Ambulance for me) for a like 4 hour sit around where they just hook me up to a HRM & an ECG... been there, done it not once, not twice but three times before ... all in one week... don't ask, it was around this time last year actually 8)

Anyway, I did the silly thing of taking more Meph after they told me not to... typical. :! Then, 2 hours later I felt pretty damn stimulated still, despite not having that much... so eventually I got out bed which was just a waste of time tossing back & forth. Of course, what did I do next but take more Meph... to be fair, I had to because I felt so shitty. It actually seemed to help for a few hours until it was near breakfast, then I took a couple of lines in quick succession which seemed to bring things back. Now, I've just a sort of 'heavy' feeling heart & I think my ankles are swollen... taken with the shortness of breath last night, that's not a good sign... so I think I best be calling for the Paramedics again before something happens!

Hopefully it is all nothing like they suggested at first & just anxiety / effect of the drug that I'm not used to... meh, let's hope it's not anything as sinister as drug-induced heart-failure. 8o

Retard.

Sorry.

rule #1 doing stims: always go to sleep each night. as soon as you start doing all nighters you run into trouble.

I'm just your regular drug user to who puts 2 + 2 together to make 5.

Putting 2 and 2 together to make 5 is one thing.

You've not even attempted to put 2 and 2 together though, have you? You're just waving a '2' around in each hand with a gormless expression on your face, and wasting people's valuable time to boot.

Don't worry, it's ok... I know!

I'm not saying it was a smart move but there are plenty of people on the forums here that take risks like this all the time... just happens to be very rarely it is actually a serious problem but I don't know yet, so we'll see.

Let's hope not. :|

In all fairness, they didn't say I might actually have anything wrong... they just gave the standard "don't use drugs" spiel... but fair enough.

Anyway, point is... I was foolish & that's that.

Seagulls look so damn mean, evil, and selfish. They are extremely aggressive and quite intelligent too, for instance they swoop down on people eating fish and chips near the beach, and have even been filmed walking into shops, picking up a pack of crisps with their beak, walking out the shop with the crisps, and ripping the bag open. That is far too clever for a fucking seagull. Magpies and crows are pretty smart too. They are far more likeable too, even if crows are the loud scruffy scavenging yobs of the bird world i like them, they are kind of gothic if that doesnt sound ridiculous. Seagulls and pigeons though. Far too numerous, they are like a fucking plague :!:\

Evey, a postgrad certificate would look good on any CV. It is an achievment to have achieved what you have. Try and view it more positively if you cannot afford or its not possible for one reason or another to re-do the bit you struggled with. Normally you do get a second chance in education type stuff, not that ive got any experience with anything post grad level.

Are there?

I can't think of a single person who'd go as far as to call for emergency medical help, ignore the advice they were given and then consider seeking medical assistance again for something which is obviously a temporary side-effect of a stimulant binge.

If there were such an individual, then they'd rightly get called a fucking idiot. I'm sorry.

Anyway, point is... I was foolish & that's that.

Quite.

Think for a moment about all the road traffic accidents and cardiac arrests those paramedics might need to deal with before you call them out because you've overdone the meph. Put it away and get some sleep.

I've started going down the NA route again, in all honesty it hasnt been going so well. I do see the postives in it, because there are some but as has been said I struggle with the complete abstinence

I might try a NA meeting, I dont believe in the 'higher power' shit, but you can make that whatever you want it to be, some sort of inner voice even apparently. I've broken my physical addiction to opis but kratom keeps calling me back again and again. Im not sure yet if this is necessarily a problem, as i have now finally reached the stage where i can use it exactly as planned for a strictly limited day or number of days, and feel better and better the longer im off it. Got some family parties to attend this weekend, dont wanna turn up being a party pooper all grumpy and withdrawn, im allready rationalising and finding reasons to justify re-ordering.

Don't worry, I've called my Doctor to ask for his opinion first...

The problem is if you start on it in the evening it can be so moreish that its hard to stop. And it would feel weird starting to get hammered at 9am in the morning or something, but i guess that is some form of harm reduction, as the chances are much higher that you will have had enough by the time it becomes bed time, than if you had started in the evening when just one dose is hard to stick to, and the urge to redose is ever present, and before you know it its 7 am the next morning and you've been up all night. :\

fuck that, if you're going to do drugs always have a plan before you start and stick to it. Just be responsible for what you do and know the pitfalls and hazards.

There's nothing at all wrong with pulling the odd all-nighter, as long as it isn't a regular thing.

If you're taking stims frequently enough for the loss of sleep to be a real concern then that's what you should be worrying about really.

Sleep or no sleep, stims will fuck you over if they become an everyday thing. Or even an every-other-day thing, for that matter.

I agree. Though a lot of people's stim use is anything but 'functional' and practical, however they may kid themselves.

Id definitely recommend going to one just for the experience if nothing else, you can meet some right characters in there, and it does give me hope, theres folk in there who I know from years back and they've been drug free for 5-9 years, and these lads were full on chaotic junkies, regularly in jail, regularly OD'ing etc, you get the picture. If they can do it then im sure I can.. :)

I find it a bit worrying that these demons last so long, so that even 9 years or longer after stopping people still have to attend meetings to keep up their will power / hopefully prevent relapsing. Apparently people like Russell Brand and Davina McCall still attend such meetings occasionally many years after they've quit. :\
