This, I believe, would be difficult even for a Chem. Prof.

Is there anyway someone could identify a chemical (psychedelic and safe, of course) without using up the dose?

My friend who gives me some fun stuff (legit MDMA, Acid, LSA, LSD (not sure if that's still around but it felt right) but she gave me this tab and she said they were going around as LSD but it's not LSD she said it may be 2-C-I or 2-C-E but she had no clue... so now I have this tab sitting in my drawer... what do?

No identification threads allowed, not to mention there is really no way for us to tell you.
2ce and 2ci would not give any effect in the doses able to fit on one blotter.

Yeah sorry, no ID threads.

Realize what it means to have a mystery tab before you go ahead and do anything with it, please. As is said it couldn't be 2C-I or 2C-E, but it could be the associated NBOMe's which would be 25I and 25E respectively. We won't go into detail what fits on blotter and what a test would involve, we have this thread arranged for such occasions:

Let me remind you of the increased risks when taking a 'hit' of unknown dosage of something - let alone of unknown identity. At the very least be aware of what it is you are taking, and responsible practice is to slowly work up the dosage when trying out a new drug, but even more generally a new batch of a drug, even if you already have experience with the substance.
Consider all the ways a mystery tab deviates in.

You cannot regenerate the drug you test on a blotter for a few reasons:
- The added reagent chemicals are typically toxic to ingest.
- The drug is altered by the reagent chemicals, it turns into a new complex that has colored appearance.

I have several blotters in my stash, most of reliable identity/dosage but some are a bit of a question mark. I might as well flush the latter ones but I keep them like a stamp collector would a stamp, I suppose.
