hi,the dawn here,i got off label ketamine approved for treatment for
treatment resistant depression.
should i?
i have been psychotic but it's 15 years ago.

this is not about partying or anything like that.
this is about me having some kind of life quality beyond to merely survive
with suboxone and weed?(where i live weed is legal).

i don't want to break any rules or cause any trouble.
but i did get approved for this shit,it's like a medical research
for [people who lives with depression and have tried EVERYTHING.

the thing is,i don't know.i function to a certain degree with subs and smoking weed to sleep.

any advice appreciated.

do not pm me anything about where i got this if that came any to mind.
i got it legit, off label approved for TR depression.

again.peace.

One dosage is enough to help depression.

I wouldn't recommend it to the average person; because it's highly addictive to some people, and rather unpleasant to others.

But for people like me, it worked miracles.

Are you going to be working with a qualified person to monitor your usage and how well it is working? I think from the studies I have read, it is most likely going to become more available in the near future as a legitimate therapy for depression, at least if big pharma doesn't get involved. But as the Captain said, it is reputed to be useful at one dose per month but it is also recommended that you work with a qualified medical professional because obviously the temptation to use more exists. I believe you that you have no intention of using it to get high but it would still be a reasonable to have someone monitoring you as an extra safeguard.

yes,it is monitored 100 percent.
i don't know shit about ketamine.

i don't know if the person is qualified and even what a qualification would be?

so the captain says once a month and you say take care, basically?

this i think is good enough for me with additional research I've done on this
and it being legit.

Well, thedawn, if you know shit about it, you know that I know even less than shit about it LOL, 8)but I heard about it at a conference I went to last year. Apparently, it was first noticed in WWI when soldiers in combat got it for anesthesia and then anecdotally reported that it lifted their depression for up to a month from only the one use. No one wanted to use it however when they realized how addictive it was. But at the conference they were talking about trying to get FDA approval for a doctor to give it in the office as a once a month injection. I thought it sounded promising but that is really the extent of my knowledge.

hmmm,yeah.
it's not a lot.
gonna sleep on this one over the weekend and not commit right now.

I get bad bipolar depression and ketamine is one of if not the best drugs i have ever taken for helping the depression without risking mania. It even seemed to have a sort of mood stabilizing effect on me. I recently pulled myself out of a long funk after taking ketamine earlier the week so yeah i would say go for it. Just don't overdo it and you don't need to take it everyday in my experience.

I tend to agree, the drug has become problematic for many people resulting in quite severe physical consequences.

I tried self medicating both this and another dissociative for TR Depression but it quickly became habitual daily use so I ceased before it became a serious problem.

I've read a number of study reports which seem to show good results which are almost immediate, in some. I would certainly try a medically supported treatment but self medication with street drugs isnt something I would recommend to anyone.

OP, if you say, you got it "approved offlabel", does that mean that the treatment will be monitored by a psychiatrist/doctor? if yes, then I'd go for it.
