listening to that shameless rent-a-rant by piers morgan, white armour gleaming away - on kevin pietersen's removal from the team. started out plausible as if a considered, relatively impartial assessment. but alas, soon deteriorated into clearly personal attacks on events hat had gone on inside the dressing room


flower a "school headmaster" and a "bully" who "couldnt motivate him"

rest of dressing room "jealous of his ipl contracts" and he had people "not as good as him", "telling him how to bat"

aleistair cook a "weak, spineless little weasel" captain who "should have been removed"

etc, etc




...ah, and yes indeed he has actually just replied with the words "you'll have to ask kevin pietersen that. im not going to speak for him"

lol well of course you arent piers, youre self-promoting via controversial vicarious shilling of pietersen's ego. but it is completely for yourself, thats for sure


he finished with the more familiar plain bluster and hot air, taking the form of his heroic demonstration to the world/england batsmen how to take on brett lee brian close-style, off "nineteen yards". twat



piers morgan is great because he affords me the opportunity to look down on someone's conduct for a change

i just about remember that period (not trying to rub it in ;)), got into test cricket at late nasser captaincy - when shaun pollock still rivaled mcgrath and lara was enjoying his record breaking swansong courtesy of england, and warne was still bowling unreadable googlys, in addition to zooters, flippers, toppers, sliders and a host of other names be clearly came up with on his regular amphetamine binges of the time (legal: weight related)



back when we still celebrated a single test victory in a home ashes series, that particular time being a gritty, rear-guard century by mark butcher in the final test to avoid a whitewash. looks like we're cycling
 
I'm happy for the 400 run lead but that second innings from NZ was so wasteful. We need a couple of wickets before stumps but this is a Test for NZ to lose at the moment.

It may have been swept under the carpet where you are but the fact that India, Australia and England have highjacked the ICC has not gone un noticed down here. One more Test to go and India can fuck off home with their tail between their legs.

Funny thing is our lowest ever score against India is 94 and we won that Test too.

DRS, or lack there of cost India. Couple of dodgy LBW's throughout and Dhoni may have been out on a return crease no ball. Fuck em and their money grabbing Board of shame
 
It seems unquestiobable that NZ are the best OD team in the world right now. Fortunately, that's not the most important thing- the Aus-SA Test series is the biggest thing in cricket right now. Who's the best, Steyn or Miller? (Why Antipodeans give ttheir kids proper first names? Dale? Mitchell? You're naming a human, not a puppy. What's your first name, OTW? Dennis?).
 
I'm really looking forwards to this next series with Aus-SA teams. It'll make an interesting follow up to the ashes, which was really one sided... I hope SA offers more opposition than England did, although I am sure that is a given...especially with a pace attack like that - Steyn is a machine bowler
 
^Yeah, this is good. Glad to see that awful cunt Warner go for 12, This'll be a good series. Plus we got Holding in the commentary box! :D I support England, but if South Africa are playing Australia, you best believe I support SA!
 
Good to see Johnson ripping apart SA's top order, makes me feel a teensy-weeny bit better about England's (lack of) efforts.
