TDS PAWS Discussion Thread

I am 54 days off suboxone. Only having a few PAWS symptoms remaining.

I believe in myself. I want to make it through this a stronger person and I am determined to get there.

That's amazing. You inspire me Captain.Heroin, you really do. You have done and will continue to do amazing.

You're so close and I know you're strong enough to finish,

I echo this. You will be a stronger person, capt, in fact you ARE a stronger person already. You're 54 days of SUBOXONE. A lot of people cannot do that. They often find it too difficult n relapse. I have heard of lots of people who have failed to detox from from suboxone. So please know you are stronger than you think you are n we're all very proud of you.

I 'm glad that you're not having much paws.

Hiya everyone,

I'm going to go on my uni account later to see if I can find some studies on PAWS. I'll post the links n titles of the papers here n ask one of the mods to put them near the front for me so they're easier to locate than wading through the thread.

I'm not sure whether you'll be able to access them as I get to access papers with being in uni (and with it being £650 a module n have access to papers that usually cost). However, if you can't access them you will be able to see the abstracts n if able of you are in uni just go to your uni online library n type in the titles n you'll have them that way.

I think it's important to look at some evidence-based stuff as I haven't really a clue to be honest. And of course, everyone's experience of their PAWS, on bluelight, is evidence- based, and just as important, if not more so , than any study. A stud, after all, is just someone else's interpretation of any results - just as anyone can interpret another 's experience on here. It's not right or wrong - it's a different way of looking at the situation.

Here's some studies so far. The first link of more of a discussion around addiction. I don't think I could just put links up, discussing PAWS / protracted withdrawal without putting up a link discussing addiction. Hope these are helpful. Please let me know what you think or include any that may help. I can collate them and have them in the first page so they can help anyone going through this to research what is happening to them.
