When I went to Scouseland to take the jobs off the Scouse, I found mancs and scouse working together in perfect harmony. I say "working", I mean that very loosely.
 
yeah there is plenty of banter, no real hostilty as such (on the whole). Having never worked in Liverpool i didnt realise this thing went both ways, and that Mancs were taking scousers jobs too. I used to really like scousers, but there was an absolute cunt of a scouser in my last workplace, the type of person who would facebook friend people and then print out any negative posts they made about work and show them to management and HR. An absolute wanker, i know i shouldnt let 1 knob head make me hate a whole cities citizens.

As for the work ethic, i think its safe to say that some people tend to try to find out how little they can get away with doing, or not doing.

Tbh I wasn't paying full attention so didn't notice that. Our local post office is like something out of the 70s security wise, I'm surprised it doesn't get done over all the time.

At first i really hated the new female presenter that has taken over from Ranvir Singh as i thought Ranvir was really hot, and this new one seemed to think she was sexy as fuck when she isnt atall, but she is annoyingly starting to grow on me, and the new guy that took over from gordon burns is good, very proffessional. I thought they were gonna give the job to tony livesy at first, i really like him, but hes gone on to bigger and better things, getting regular slots on the one show now.

The one thing you can trust a scouser not to steal is a fucking job. They wouldn't want it if you gave it to 'em.
 
There is fuck loads off telesales and call center jobs in Manchester, never a shortage. Not the same in Liverpool, who the hell would want to be on the receiving end of that phone call anyway, someone spitting down the phone at you.

Anyway someone just screamed FUCKING really loudly on Channel 4 news, and its was barely 7.30 8o

... Why? Surely if it's that bad you don't actually have to catch the stuff and fling it. Can she not just squat all ladylike, like? Maybe even duck down an alley rather than in front of CCTV cameras on a main road. Or maybe even use the provided facilities. Perhaps it's me that's weird :?
 
Anybody knows if Tinnitus can go away or is it perm for me now? Have had it for 2-3 weeks now.

I have had tinnitus all my adult life but it is mostly pretty low level and unnoticeable. It comes and goes. Dissociatives make it much worse but it goes away when the drugs wear off. I'm not sure why dissos do that. Maybe other drugs do it too. Probably do.

Depends what induced it. ive had tinnitus on and off for years, something happened at work years ago and i couldnt hear properly for weeks after, ever since quitting my job its gotten a bit better. but it never fully goes

Meph also used to give me bad tinnitus, im guessing it was something to do with blood pressure

Probably listening to Pink Floyd on my Walkman. But it might just be genetic, my dad gets it too and I don't think he's a fan of Floyd.


I'd be tempted to go with Dan's blood pressure theory, but I don't honestly know, and whenever I've done any research (at the google library) no-one else seems to know either.
