i love it when the weather is perfectly timed like that. Often it happens the other way too ofcourse, i once left work to cycle home, and there was a torrential downpour that soaked me to the skin before id even left works carpark. About 2 minutes later the storm passed, to leave clear blue skies. Him upstairs was taking the piss that day.

Amazing. Just been out walking in bright sunshine for 30 mins, just got home and the heavens (and hell) have opened. Currently watching non-stop forked lightning and hailstones.

I'm with Albi (not literally mind) - this weather is outstanding.

That's pretty awesome, I like insane weather like that. Makes me feel comfortable, for some reason.

Unless you get caught in it, then it's shit.

Just boring weather here today. Think it rained earlier. I can't settle down, feel out of place and also there's a new episode of Kitchen Nightmares on at 10pm which is fucking annoying because I'll almost certainly be asleep by then, and don't have good enough internet to watch it after the fact. It's really driving me mad today actually, using my phone connected to my laptop and it works great when connected by USB, but for some reason it's not working now so I have to use it wirelessly and it is so. fucking. slow. Worth a bash asking one of you lot actually cos google tells me nothing useful: It's an HTC Desire, and it charges when plugged into the laptop's USB port but it doesn't have the wee USB icon in the corner of the phone's menu bar and doesn't make the usual sound when I plug it in.

It's stopped now but that was a good half hour storm. I have seen more lightning in the last 3-4 days over my town than I've seen here in the previous ten years. I really thought, until now, that I'd moved to a place that just didn't get thunderstorms. It didn't.

It does now.

And about things working the other way around MDB. Flew into Bristol airport around this time last week and got onto the free bus to the car park, along with about 70 other people. Dashed off the bus to collect my car keys, came running back out to my car and got drenched in the 30 seconds it took to get to it. And of course, 30 seconds later the shower was over.

Weirdest weather I've ever experienced was in Manchester some years back. It was raining, but you could take a few steps forward and be out of the rain, while it was still raining behind you. Was just kinda strange, like I know rain has to stop somewhere but being able to do that was pretty neat.

Also being in Florida and swimming in the outdoor pool while it was absolutely fucking hammering it down but still warm. Bit of a novelty, couldn't imagine doing that here.

Yeah, we get that kind of rain. :)

There's an art to weaving in and out of it. Though you run the risk of ending up with a mincing walk. Or at least that's my excuse.

We were doing MDMA one night and at about 6 in the morning (we were at home) we heard the most thunderous noise outside. Never forget looking out the huge bay windows we had to see the rain literally racing, uniformly, up our road, watching a dry road get wet in even fashion. Never seen that before or since. Was in London.

Weather is kinda odd here. I remember when I first came here people banging on about the different microclimates from one valley to the next. I don't get out and about enough to really confirm this personally properly but it does appear to be the case. Some of the lil towns/villages are known mainly for their predominant weather. Where I live ain't too bad but just up the road (and presumably down another valley) there's a town which is infamously rainy. Must admit every single time I've been to it or through it it's been raining. Coincidence for sure but I'm still glad I live this side of the hills :D

Drivers Warned Of 60mph Motorway Speed Limit

"A 60mph limit for a 34-mile stretch of the M1 could pave the way for a countrywide restriction on motorway speeds, it is warned."

what a crock of shit. a few years ago they were gonna up it to 80mph

Time to order some more 4-FA if the website is open

I never understood the stretches of roads on the motorway with the "Average Speed Checks" of 50mph, how is that ment to save time?

Also the limit is pretty much 80 already, your allowed 10% over so 77. Police are even told to drive around that speed limit to prevent congestion, you get a police car then massive traffic behind it no one wanting to overtake.

We've seen it !! How close did you get to the person who was filming towards the end ? You seemed to very nearly swipe him out.

I hate speed limits too, especially on umfamillar roads where you dont have the local knowledge thats where the coppers hide to speed trap you. Its not safe to assume just because every one else is speeding you can too, the average speed cameras have been known to nick dozens of drivers at a time, and those yellow box thingies get so many drivers at traffic lights and other areas that they run out of film. Bus lane fines are the worst, even if your in a bus lane for 1 second to use it as a slip road to enter the main lane you get done.

That sounds pretty amazing, rain is just brilliant in general, am prone to dancing in it if off my tits. Snow is also great, last time I had shrooms it was snowing Christmas day and I was just prancing round in the back garden in my boxers and t shirt. Slipped and fell down the bank at the end of the garden and just lost it laughing. Aw man I want good weather now.

Quite close

Might order some more 4-FA in a min

Goddamn I swear I got sent some crazy delayed release codeine linctus; I drank it about 10am and have been fairly high all day and the itches have just started, and my eyes are whirling about a bit despite having taken an antihistamine too. Fucking bizarre, not complaining like but I did nearly go arse over tit when I took the bin out just now.
