CEPS Well Hung Parliament (CEPS Social/Off Topic)

Was starting to think BL was perma-borked. WTF did they spend that beggar-money they raised on?
 
Just started an Economics course. From now on, I expect to be that guy that says "Obviously you've never studied economics" to everyone. I've always wanted to be that guy.

As you have that photo. Are you *really* proposing that innocent school kiddies are being slaughtered by God out of some sense of wanton wrath at being locked out of schools? Really? I mean, the universe is a BIG fucking place. You'd really think he had better things to do with his time, what with Him being the one and only, the alpha and omega, the only contender in the pantheon so to speak.... For someone so almighty that's a pretty petty and spiteful thing to do, I mean really petty and spiteful. He's essentially saying - "look at what you've gone and made me do?" - after he's just punched you in the mouth. He's the ultimate abusive spouse. We're actually in an abusive relationship with God

He started out as less of a troll, but as he realized that he couldn't ever defend what he said he slowly morphed into what he is today, a troll. He pushes buttons much too systematically to be anything other. The good thing is, is that once a troll is identified they are pretty much worthless. There are others here who serve as much better foils (Joe for instance).

I grew up with the religious and nationalistic tradition of pledging allegiance to a flag under god, yet there were still Jonesboros, Columbines etc. It's still a state requirement in nearly all states. So god is a filthy liar.

Conclusion: God is killing our children in schools, therefore he must be removed.

I've been told that that's no longer the case. Also, the Liberian government website uses metric measurements. For instance:

No, the US is the only country to not use metric. Other countries use non-metric measurements in limited situations, but their official business is conducted in metric, and most of their commerce is metric as well.

This Myanmar thing has gotten very little press. Of course, very few people on this side of the globe care about Burma, but this story is significant because it leaves the US as the lone moron.

And for what? The conversion could be done extremely easily I imagine. Of course, it's a pride thing, and there are many Americans I shit you not that consider metric measurements as a signpost of Communism.
