CEPS Well Hung Parliament (CEPS Social/Off Topic)

i sat next to a spider throughout my mba. bastard kept trying to cheat off of my work.

the ce&p forum is no stranger to stupid youtube videos. last night's madhatter post about the end of europe was based on one which took the proverbial cake. that must have been the most conspicuous and shallow attempt at propaganda since kim jong il.

haha. I haven't finished it, but I'm loling that children of men sequences are being used.

Why don't spiders put up like 50 nets and watch them all from a distance? Fucking stupid species.

Do you know how much energy it takes to make webbing? They are actually quite clever and my pet cross spider would certainly agree. I fed it a tick that was on my dog the other day, I thought the end was quite fitting for the tick.

i hate more of the words i use, then the ones i don't; despite my original reservations, i'm starting to dig s.elephant's "there's too many words|" schtick ;D

Yea, it is quite useful for those types who don't really like to think. I mean being specific and accurate is for liberals right? Conservatives are more like, "You differnt, me no like" right?

I mean what is the difference between leg and foot? Who cares right? I can take your foot at the ankle, or your lower leg at the knee. I say this because there is a dialect here where leg and foot is the same word, and it must ALWAYS be differentiated in a medical setting (economical, political, etc.. are no different). Otherwise the poor old lady thinks just the foot has to come off, when most of the leg has to come off, and is quite surprised upon waking. My point is in order to be professional in any profession, and to correctly do a job within a team or involving others, the vocabulary must be there. Communication is incredibly important, and the more accurately we can communicate the better.

LOL. Let me state this categorically, once again. Economics is not comparable in any facet, in any respect, in any regard, to biology. (or this case anatomy and physiology, a useful branch of biology, because it lacks substantial overlap with other branches) Doctors usually have a good reason for amputating, leaving any part of the body they possibly can, with no regard for terms. I've seen amputees with half a tibia, so your comparison doesn't have a leg to stand on. ( ;) )

You are right doctors never communicate with their professional language while discussing interesting or difficult cases, planning, operating, etc... Everyone reads each others minds and all the nurses and technicians know exactly what to do when.
Lol, what do you think is right above the ankle. The tibia maybe? Just like if you amputate above the knee slightly you have femur left behind. I'm sorry if I failed to explain myself properly, that is a failure of using the proper language to explain myself sufficiently.
The use of professional languages in both areas is comparable, even if there are substantial differences between the two or to the extent to which that language is used. You did absolutely nothing to address my point, so the point still stands.

Which terms used to describe an economy, do not have considerable overlap with other terms used to describe an economy?

Dude, wtf are you even talking about? Maybe explain yourself more sufficiently? Are you really trying to say that, for instance, the branches of epigenetics and limnology overlap so much as to be irrelevant? You do realize what the term biology covers right? It is interdisciplinary, further increasing the need for a standardized language with a high level of specificity. What are some branches of biology which are not useful?

Bleh...you sure are a hard one to follow.

Not to mention the original point remains unchallenged.

Uh, what the fuck are you talking about? I said branches of biology are useful, while branches of economics overlap too much to be of any real use....

The point has been challenged just fine, you didn't (or couldn't) even answer the question.

I wish all you bums would stop celebrating christmas already and come back to entertain me :!
