Check it out. It's not very well known, but it really is a great movie. :)

I know it's not an actual xmas film, but the first time I watched it was on Christmas Day and I was really high. There's also a lot of snow in the film, if that helps...?

You mean, Ollie Hopnoodle's Haven of Bliss? It has nothing to do with Christmas, but they go on a family vacation. Ralphie also gets his first job and their family dog, Fuzzhead, gets lost. It's a really great movie.

whenever im reminded of it the first thing that comes to mind is mrs munchnik screaming "hayyy dickheadsss" from the elevator.

LOVE home for the holidays. revisited it recently and loved it all over again. it was directed by jodie foster. robert downey jr's role in the film is laugh out loud funny. i highly recommend. :D
