Sniffing MXE is a waste of time? never heard that before. is your nose fucked?
 
Funny that, I fucked my nose up snorting 4-fa (BIG mistake) but the wounds refused to heal while I continued to apply MXE to it. I found eventually, & before I gave up on MXE, that sublingual or plain old parachute works just as well as snorting...

4-FA, IMO, kicks MPA, ethylphenidate and all the other RC stims into touch. But tolerance develops quickly, and it's very handy to have alternatives. Life's rich tapestry etc.

Agreed! 4-fa rather does rock, I ain't had any since my 5-mapb brain zaps crisis in Jan. It goes off fast so I had to bin some, it went a very unhealthy looking greeny/blue, contaminated with some sort of mouldy shite. Bummer. I shall refreezerate my 4-fa should I ever come into more. Couple years ago I had a night out in Bournemouth on methylone & 4-fa combos. Very, very nice combo... probably deadly so as HR Czar (this is a joke okay!) I advise against it. For the record, my doses were very conservative as I try to keep stim use to a minimum after I messed myself up with a 'Drone habit back in 2010.
 
no not really just never did what i needed that way took to much and you need to get it right not just hoovering it up but slow and gentle i found but bad habits would prevail
and i would end up snorting it like speed
 
that may be but I seem to dodge hangovers on both them two. Peevee, MPA, EPH, MDMA etc etc, nasty comedown but I seem to get on okay with 4-fa & Methylone. Odd huh? One time I used 4-fa four days in a row to counteract a chest infection until I could get treatment & I still suffered only a minor MDMA-like comedown that lasted perhaps a couple days. On average I was doing about 200mg per day, for four days.
 
lucky bastard. you get no say on HR then, since you get no H to R :P

Si Ingwe, glad to meet a fellow BL'er with such a clear fondness for methylone. I used to take it every wk a couple of years back as part of a 3 way cocktail: methylone 60mg, mephedrone 40mg and dxm 100mg. Used to get through about 5 of these a night.

I was very sad to see methylone get caught up in the ban, I'd have got a fucking kilo in if it hadn't been banned Lol It's amongst my list of no-go's as it brings a return of my brain zaps. I tested a little out in summer & regretted it :(

Havent heard talk of MDAI for a long time & it doesn't appear for sale much anymmore either...

None of the 4-FA I've had has ever gone off (to my knowledge, I'm not going to bother asking the police about the stuff they've got :) ), and I've kept it for months. I don't do anything special storage wise, just in the ziplock bag in cool dark place.
 
I know you're not certain it was mould, as such, but mould - as a living organism - needs moisture, water, to live. So if it is indeed going mouldy, then there must be a humidity problem. Just a thought, possibly a useless one.
 
it also needs substrate to live on.
alas, must ev been an active, hyper, happy mold
 
I just can't think what else would go greeny/blue. It was definitely an old batch, my guess is 2011, & I discovered the "problem" middle of this year. Still makes the material only two years old, assuming the vendor wasn't sitting on it for years. which I doubt. I dunno, shoulda took a photo.

I've had fa that was pure white, shiney & very fine, but this batch was a off-white, perhaps greyish colour, still very fine. I posted about it in Other Drugs where I got the old, "Dumb-ass shoulda stuck it in the freezer" treatment, so I still don't think I'm the only one to have trouble with it.

Might be wise folks, to store any amounts entirely free of damp but as cold as possible, just in case...
 
The only problem with the "cold as possible" thing is when you remove a very cold thing from the fridge or freezer, water from the air will condense on the cold thing. So if you do keep your drugs really cold, you need to let them reach room temperature before opening the bag.

Another option is to keep your drugs in a solution. (mono)propylene glycol is often used for benzos, but you can dissolve other things in it too, like MDPV and aMT. It acts as a preservative too. I haven't tried 4-FA in (m)pg, I could try it out though.


edit: OK yes 4-FA dissolves in PG with a bit of agitation. So this might be worth considering. If I get round to a full scale experiment I'll let you know how much 4-FA you can get in your PG.

Yes of course, I keep stuff like that in a tin full of rice & dessicant, taped shut with electrical tape & allow the entire thing to warm up before opening it. That's for the small amount of metocin I have left but I'd do the same with 4-fa if I get any more in. Although the zaps are still easing, I fear my time with stims might be at an end. So be it.

Oh, 4-fa & metocin also worked beautifully together, one of the few times I DJ'd successfully whilst tripping. I just can't do it normally. Al-Lad is okay for DJing too, but I only tried it once a few weeks ago & I was using CD decks that were 100% new to me at the time. Which didn't fucking help much & I screwed up plenty of mixes! I got some mixes spot on though, which is very rare on a psyche, for me.
 
As a rule of thumb, chemicals are less stable in solution than as a solid. Freezer is generally overkill IMO, even for 4-OH-tryptamines and ergoloids a cool, dark place is usually sufficient. Greeny-blue does sound a lot like mould, there's no reason that 4-FA should be susceptible to it any more than any other phenethylamine, I'm at a loss to explain it, but I wouldn't conclude that all 4-FA samples are likely to spoil in the same way.
