Sometimes I laugh all the way through epic movies like The Postman & Waterworld, where Kevin Costner casts himself as hero. Proper cracks me up. I also dig watching old classic action movies like Rambo & Die Hard but didn't fancy putting all that lot in my list.

a good few "snaps" there for me. Most of the ones you mentioned that i hadnt allready mentioned are films that ive not seen. I'll add them to my Lovefilm list when i re-subsribe. Pan's Labyrinth is amazing isnt it, and allthough i loved K pax it didnt make sense to me

So far The Shining has gathered the most mentions.
 
Its fuckin brilliant, ive watched it about 5 times, and it still gives me the creeps. Apparently Stephen King hated the film, mainly because Kubrik turned Shelley Duvall into a weak character but in his book she was a strong character. Sorry about that Mr. K. but the film was still awesome, i dunno if it would have worked so well if she wasnt a terrified cowering wreck.

Yeah, shame it got cancelled. its because the network fucked up and didnt advertise it, and showed the episodes in the wrong order or something, all the fans kicked off and theyre the reason serenity got made

I forgot about High Plains Drifter. I think that was one of Clint Eastwoods best Westerns. Was that the one where he kept spitting tobacco juice on that mangy dogs head, the dog would not be deterred and he couldnt get rid of it, it was fuckin hilarious ? They were all good though really, maybe The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly started a bit slow but they were all stylish films. I liked Gran Torino too.
