I have never seen a reported message as somebody snitching - I see them as a way to improve the site for everyone else. Using the report function can make it easier for the mods :)

yeah, its not something i like to do, but i feel its important that sources are not openly stated on here, im on my own little crusade trying to stop these things being broadcast for all these lurkers to pick up on. In order to protect the sources, not to get the person who posted it in trouble. I know you were only teasing me i dont know why im taking everything so seriously today. 8(
 
I know how much Pillreports is hated by outside sources - If we were to allow every post/comment (sources / private contact details) to slide by the site would be closed down. Fuck that for a game of soldiers!
 
I might just be jaded & cynical, but am i the only one who thinks its a bit too sensitive on here? E.G. Whenever someone makes a slightly off colour joke thats not to the general tone of EADD off colour jokes, there's a huge shitstorm (not talking about this partiular case btw, but i'm ssure you can all think of a few off the top of your heads)

do you mean the mood of the forum right now, or in general ? i dunno, you may be right, but Id rather it this way than constant viscous bickering though tbh. Of course theres a happy medium which i think this place often strikes. With Pontifexes death things are gonna be sensitive, but i get what you are saying man, thick skins are indeed essential, you cant run home crying to mummy every time someone calls you a nasty word.

I think the last shit storm was caused by OTWs outspoken views. You're right people need to be strong, and i think a bit of non malicious piss taking / banter is good to throw into the mix to level people out. Cherrys had every right to be angry here, and ive been in a weird mood cos ive fallen off the wagon (just for today) with my bupe taper, so ive probably been over sensitive and over thinking shit. Argh. It's frustrating man people are trying to get along with and support each other. Its best when people are cracking jokes and stuff and having a laugh. This still happens.

Aye OTW was just stirring the pot, but during that argument a valid point was raised imo, even more valid in light of pontis death, which was that hard polydrug use was being, not advocated but not been the harm reduction and shit we should've been saying some of the time. Most of us have been guilty of that too, and you couldnt really change it without fucking up the community, but it could be dangerous for lurkers who, for example, will mix benzos and opis after seeing it here which in particular is a lethal combo, and whilst a new user we'd tell em NO, very few will sign up and ask & those we know can handle it we just let em get on with it. Not saying we should hassle each other, just point out when things are getting risky (which we do anyways, but sometimes not enough)
I love it here though, it's like a virtual little small town.

Dont think i really have much of a coherent point atm MDB, my heads still spun from last night/no sleep, dw about it :)

of course youve made an impact you dafty youve made 14,000 posts and been here for 4 years. Everyone knows your face. You dont make a big drama out of anything, and thats a good thing. Theres far too many dramas going on here sometimes. You help balance things out just by being one of the more sane and less extreme members of EADD.
