snorted 1800 mg wellbutrin and 120 mg of Adderall. My body feels a little tingly. People say Wellbutrin can be bad, how much is bad? I have resorted to snorting some extra meds trying to get some relief or balance in my life/

If people say it is bad then I don't understand why you did it. Bad in what way?

Do you have a tolerance to adderall and if so how much do you normally take?
And why wellbutrin? It is just "yuck" as far as I'm concerned.

high doses of wellbutrin can cause seizures.. 1800 is a lot. you're an idiot. you were cautioned against using wellbutrin in your other thread, and people told you to do research BEFORE taking any drugs.

You are missing information, my whole life I've been resistant to most medications. This isn't my first rodeo with wellbutrin and I've done my research. I've gone though a lot of different anti-depressants and anxiety medication. Nothing works well for me, until 4 months ago I had abused my medication and i'm 40.It is frustrating going through mental health issues especially when nothing helps to level you out. I don't know all the lingo and i'm not sure what i'm looking for but i'm just existing and I want more

1800mg is way too much... the highest recommend dosage is 300mg and why snorting it ? I get a good effect from 150mg oral daily. You will get much more from taking it daily then trying to abuse it. Its not a drug of abuse. It is called an antidepressant, but in fact its much more a mild stimulant that work in a similar way of antidepressant because you have to take it daily to get the full effect but for me Bupropion (Wellbutrin) just makes me more motivated and more concentrated.

The 120mg of adderall is going to thoroughly overpower the wellbutrin - all the buproprion will do is increase the amount of side effects.

If you want the medication to work properly, don't snort and abuse it in doses that large. Just take it as directed.

Generally: do not snort Antidepressants 8)

Are you seeing a therapist? Not a psychiatrist who prescribes meds but a professional you can talk with to try and getyour life sorted? The answer to mental health problems is rarely, if ever, strictly chemical.

It's all moot now anyway. I've decided that my 4 month experiment with snorting extra drugs is done. I take 300 mg of wellbutrin, 60 mg of Adderall (2 30 mg doses 5 hours apart) I also take eltroxin, lanzoprazole, and coversyl. All I really want to know is what is thought of how they will interact with each other. Just recently switched from Effexor to wellbutrin and Ritalin to Adderall. what woud be the best combination for me to take properly. If there is something different i'm open to suggestions. my doctor has tried concerta as well. I have the problem of my body not reacting for very long to any medication and maybe it's because i'm mixing the wrong ones. Dr. says that most of the drugs are interchangeable as they are the same things just delivered differently.

this. no recreational value in this. adderall, sure. but wellbutring? dangerous, esp in a massive dose like that. even if you are experienced, snorting that much may end up throwing you a few surprises.

Get a new doctor. Seriously, no doctor worth their salt would ever over-simplify to that extent. It is a completely false assertion as well. They all have different receptor actions and affinities not to mention some are reuptake inhibitors, some are catecholamine releasers... Your doctor isn't doing you any favors if they don't even have a basic understanding of the properties these meds have.

If you were switched to Wellbutrin from Effexor, you may very well be going into Effexor withdrawal if it wasn't done properly. I'm not sure about Ritalin to Adderall, I always avoided those drugs even if they said I needed them.

Eltroxin may need to be adjusted - Wellbutrin, Adderall, Effexor, and Ritalin are all stimulants in their own ways and an improperly functioning thyroid may not be able to keep up with the changing metabolism so have that checked when you are acclimated to the new regime.

Coversyl has a wide range of drugs that it interacts with - I was going to ask you if you have considered giving an atypical a try, specifically Geodon, but that drug is specifically not compatible with Coversyl along with many other atypical antipsychotics, the TCA antidepressants (which unfortunately are the only ones that have ever beaten placebo to any significant degree), and a bunch of other medications as well.

I don't really have any suggestions for you. It takes roughly 2-3 weeks usually for Wellbutrin to kick in but if you weren't ramped off of Effexor properly, there will be a dose-dependent discontinuation syndrome that will mount itself.

By the way, tolerance has no bearing on Wellbutrin's ability to lower your seizure threshold. Just because it isn't having any clinical effects that you can notice doesn't mean that it hasn't lowered your seizure threshold and being on Adderall only exacerbates the seizure risk. Wellbutrin is also not a drug that exclusively triggers seizures in people that have a history of them, it is well-known that even therapeutic dosages can bring on seizures in those that have never had them before.
