Absolutely loving the Royal Mail float. Thank you Vince and George, what a way to open the group up to the market. Already made a five figure sum stagging the IPO, and because individuals applying for £10k of shares or more got given nowt, I can wait for the small time investors to flog their paltry £750's worth and wait for the share price to return to around IPO price and buy again. Absolutely splendid day and what a winner for everyone in the UK - billions in revenue for the government, profit for the small investor, profit for the large investors and a better service now the group will be privatised.

Three cheers for the Conservatives and Lib Dems for an excellently executed float, and thank the lord Labour aren't in power, handing out tax revenue to dole scum and dragging us further into the mire. Although I must say, a wonderful foot-in-the-mouth jobbie by Chuka Umunna to boost IPO price by saying the Government had undervalued the company! Added a few thousands quid to my gains. Capitalism alive and working across the board, I bet you he had invested in shares too, the sly dog.

Nice thread.

Its painfully obvious that the government deliberately undervalued the IPO just so a small group of wealthy private investors (aka Dave's golf buddies) could make a killing. They don't even try to hide it any more.

Pejorative term used by the work-shy against those who have actually worked to enjoy the fruits of their labour, rather than cream it off the state. Clearly the profession of popping out kids isn't well paid enough in some peoples eyes.

Woz gunna rhyme with this but couldn't think of ending it on anything but "fraud"

I'm getting sick of pricks shifting money around and playing intricate games with it, I'm in science and we are just being screwed over (here = not UK, but NL) --to add insult to injury I'm living at the edge of the financial district of town and am surrounded by the cunts and their offspring who I can see being raised into cunts before my eyes :|
