Well hes growing on me son. I especially like those lyrics you posted at the top they really resonate with my life both spiritual and material atm. Been pondering somewhat about separations and reconciliation here. *sigh* tragic fucking life aint it? :(

I think i may have posted cyndi recently. Time after Time is more of a mainstream song but some of her lyrics are as simple, honest and yearnful as Dennis Wilsons.

Time After Time

Lying in my bed I hear the clock tick,
And think of you
Caught up in circles confusion
Is nothing new
Flashback warm nights
Almost left behind
Suitcases of memories,
Time after

Sometimes you picture me
I'm walking too far ahead
You're calling to me, I can't hear
What you've said
Then you say go slow
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time

After my picture fades and darkness has
Turned to gray
Watching through windows you're wondering
If I'm OK
Secrets stolen from deep inside
The drum beats out of time

If you're lost you can look and you will find me
Time after time
If you fall I will catch you I'll be waiting
Time after time

You said go slow
I fall behind
The second hand unwinds <3

pink floyd live 8 comfortably numb? check out will from dr feelgood, lost in his music. New order are far from alone in believing and getting into their own music. That just opens the case, it doesnt close it. ;)

new order were better than JD i agree, barney had a much better voice, hooky is a star and their drummer is phenominal, new order were much more melodic, not heard this track before, cheers for the link.

Glad you agree, MDB - don't they look so joyful?

May have been something to do with them (allegedly) being the first Brits to sample MDMA after Marc Almond. :D

One of the reasons Stephen Morris' drums sounded so stifled in Joy Division is that Martin Hannett would make him record each drum individually, while playing the rest of the rhythm on his legs. He's come out black and blue.

Martin Hannett - what a fucking madman he was!
