Cannabinoids are known for causing paranoia and panic reactions to individuals who are under the influence of psychedelics. An associate of mine recently took himself to the hospital while on 25C-NBOMe because he convinced himself he was suffering vasoconstriction that was about to become fatal. He convinced himself that the parasthesia he was feeling in his hands and feet was in fact the flesh dying from extensive vasoconstriction which was spreading up his limbs to his heart. He could not be convinced otherwise and traveled to the hospital post-haste. He didn't tell them he was on anything, and they checked him out, gave him oxygen, and told him he had a panic attack. There was no vasoconstriction. This is probably very similar to what you experienced. It still might be wise to have yourself examined though, it's better to be safe than sorry.
Also, let me just say that the problem with spice, like any branded recreational drug, is that you have no idea what is in it at what dosage. Synthetic cannabinoids are already something that one needs to be really careful with to begin with, you don't need to add further unknowns to the combo. You really don't know what could be in it at all. There have been reports of blends of whatever cannabinoids happen to be in stock, regardless of if they have ever been assayed together or not, and I've even heard reports of other random-ass shit thrown in, such as O-Desmethyltramadol and other opiates. If you want to play with cannabinoids, order them pure, you will have much more control over what you're using, and if you really prefer to have it as plant matter that you can smoke out of your bong, you can make your own "spice" without too much effort. There are so many unknowns when using research chemicals, you should avoid adding more whenever possible.
