Real world stresses > Bluelight and there's nothing more we can do about that Si. We already provide a safe haven, taken for granted, unnoticed, a friendlier reflection of a harsh world, that accommodates drug users in a way that nowhere else does. That's a pretty special thing. It would have been nice if we could have provided more help for Cornish, if it had been asked for, but we shouldn't beat ourselves up over his or anyone's death here. We are but a virtual response to real world realities and are limited as such.
RIP Cornish. The Internet is inventing whole new ways to think and feel. For me it started with Evad, through Charlie Clean (lung cancer Si, nowt to do with BL) and now Cornish. It feels strange to feel so emotional over someone who has never really been more than the sum of their text on a website.
They say we go back to where we came, just molecules in the dust etc. We never lose anything. But where does consciousness go? Where does Cornishmans humour go? The world has to be less funny without him.
