Woke up around 10am this morning. Had cup of tea to help wash my methadone down and get rid of the taste and then took a couple of blues.
I think I took the blues too soon after the methadone as feeling like I could go back to bed and sleep again.

Not me, I trying to get all this work done before wendesday. I'm not doing any crazy caffeine binges like I did before, where I have like 5 pro plus pills and a giant bottle of cheap energy drink. But I am drinking a lot of coke.

It's weird, does anyone else get a strange tingly sensation in their legs when they drink lots of caffiene? I also had incredibly mild OEV's/ CEV's last time I didn't sleep and binged on caffeine.

bank holiday monday, everyone's taking it easy.

open eyed visuals?? never experienced this... you're taking waaaaay too much caffeine.

and this is coming from a caffeine fiend.

hahaha by mild I mean mild. for example, when I was lying in bed, I noticed the light from my router was much sharper and clearer, almost like the mild visual distortion you get from MDMA. It was probably the combination of stress, lack of sleep and caffeine.

When my sleeping is messed up I always get mild visuals. Often wondered if this was some kind of HPPD effect from former psychedelic use.

My vision varies so much from just being tired to being awake, or having not blinked for too long, I would hesitate to agree that you can notice a change in visual acuity from a cup of coffee, but it you have conducted a double-blind trial then please submit your data for review ;)

^ No-ones talking about a cup of coffee... but pushing yourself to stay awake by drinking cans of monster... comes to a point where ones vision becomes a little deceptive

coffee, coke, pro-plus, monster, red bull, it's all caffeine ;)

Yes your eyesight is probably going to get worse from sleep deprivation and jittery stimulation, rather than better. Tryptamines DO sharpen the vision though!

^ No, it's nothing to do with eyesight.

Your mind becomes slow, fatigued and ineffective... then starts misperceiving things. You blatantly see a person with a bright orange coat waving at you in the distance... then on closer inspection, it was a road cone.

I'm sure Hexagram can relate to this...

Haha Raas, the alcohol is having a slight effect, of which I am aware, but I'm more concerned with wasting precious opiate goodness.

The alcohol will deter your concentration from the opiate goodness unless you take a near OD level and force yourself to notice them

I recommend weed. For some reason opiates and marijuana compliment each other perfectly - like bread and butter - it takes the combination to really bring out the best of each other.

I can't tolerate marijuana, unfortunately. It tends to lead to psychosis and paranoia quite quickly, though while under the dual influence it is blessed.

^ Me too. marijuana doesn't go well with my mental health, and leads to very negative thoughts. I hate the stuff, cannot take it.

But with H... it comes alive... h negates all the bad effects... The two were made for each other. True love.

It's not whilst under the influence, it's the next few days; I have GAD, panic attacks and periodic psychosis, on top of Bi-Polar Disorder and Borderline Personality Disorder, it's a bad choice if one wishes to stay level. ;)
