Hey guys, I'm back from holidays in Europe, it was so amazing .. we loved it!

bought an EZ-Tester in Amsterdam and picked up some good green pills from the locals, went to the Qontinent 3 day music festival in Belgium- saw my fav DJ Chain Reaction and heaps of other awesome sets like Frequencerz, Frontliner, Zatox, Brennan Heart.. so epic! <3 <3 next festival is Defqon Aus

hope you guys have been staying out of trouble :)

Damn son, so jealous. Zatox is raw as shit.

I finally found this amazing song I heard at hempfest, I was peaking on 2C-B when I heard it and my eyes started fluttering and everything melted into a psychedelic puddle while I had a flashback to a week or two before.. listen and you'll probably get it :) (just replace time with top)

Skrillex, 12th Planet, and Kill The Noise - Right On Time (Alex Young Remix)

Just eyeballed the last tiny bit of mxe in my baggie. It was very little, tiny specks, but damn I'm tripping uot hard lol. 2 Grams lasted me about 6 months+ :D Love the potency of the shit.

Whenever I start playin this my room starts to look like a jazz cafe lol

Good luck man, hope you get it. :)

So amped for tonight! Rave in the middle of the woods on a sandy river bank. xD

Thx matey! Have fun raving in the deep green yonder! I really want a job so I can buy some new music equipment. I've been all eyes on the Elektron Monomachine. I used to own an Akai MPC1000 and it was my favorite piece of modern technology. I'm really into Sampler/Sequencers.

CDJ ftw :D Although thinking about getting turntables and going vinyl. There's nothing quite like spinning vinyl lol

Agreed Dezz. Spinning vinyl is really fun. CDJ's are fun as well, and offer a wide spectrum of ways to mix. One if my first gigs I ever played was with my friend Amtrac. He shows up with two CDJs and a DJM800. I show up with my MPC1000 and a belt driven turntable. I miss those days though. My ideal setup for live work would be a DJM 800 or the A&H Xone 92 w/ Elektron Monomachine, Akai MPC1000 and one Technics MK2. Lots of possibilities. Having a TB303 would be the tits as well.

Ah yeah. there's so many options these days though, lots of controllers and lots of software and stuff like that. I chose to just go with 2 cdj's and a mixer though. I use looping here and there and a little delay but aside from that I let track selection and mixing do the work, and I've noticed I get a ton more respect with my map of cd's then the other dudes who show up with this plastic traktor s4 and a laptop lol.

I think vinyl still being around is more nostalgia than anything, the new digital age opens up so many more possibilities. I'm still just learning though really, wouldn't think of playing at a rave or anything yet. Not that I would be bad, but I'd be so nervous that I'd be that that I would actually be bad lol

Actually vinyl has the best sound quality due to dynamics, also a considerable ammount of tracks released in this day are vinyl exclusive, and when you get that bomb track you know no one else can get it anymore after the first 500 or so are sold.

Oh and first playing out I remember my first time being in a small bar which featured some tech/deep-house nights. Was nervous as hell but after mixing in the 3d track I was having the time of my life. Watching people dance and enjoy themselves on your mix is quite an awesome experience :D Huge ego boost as well when people come to the booth high fiving you and stuff lol. Honestly if you can mix tracks from a to b and have a decent flow your ready to play out. Just do some preperation and find music that works for the venue

friend who said he rolled all three days at edc, dropping 3 times a day said that stuff works wonders. not so sure if I believe it.

Under two weeks till it's time for the last festival of the season. Going to be an incredible end to the year!
