Lugano never top tier ? lol maybe thats why in the last copa america he was voted the outstanding captain of the tournament , marshalling a back line that conceded 3 goals in 6 games
And named in the team of the tournament

For the record he was also voted the best captain of the 2012 world cup

Yeah he is some muppet, lol I would rather have him in my backline than any of what your mob have on the payroll now.

BTW he was also voted the best defender in South America when he was at Sao Paulo, so yeah he cant be a top tier defender eh ? lol

In the Copa America mate. Lugano has never been at the level of the likes of Campbell, Lucio, Ferdinand, Nesta etc. etc. As I said, he was a good player but he has never been at the very top tier.

Like who? You'd break up Koscielny and Mertesacker who were beyond incredible last season? No. He was at Sao Paulo ages ago mate. And that doesn't mean anything mate, Teddy Richert got voted Ligue 1 GK of the year coming up against Coupet.

When Forlan has a good WC does that rank him by the top tier strikers in the world? No. Tier down.

Would like to revist the thread in a years time

Pretty sure he will then be listed as one of the better additions to the premiership
His game was never about speed, always how he reads the game , the timing of his tackles and the leadership he brings

Plus he is a monster from set pieces both attacking and defending
Like I said, lets revisit in a year
he isnt that far off the same player PSG Signed, cept that Ancelotti just wanted to play his own signings to make his mark on the team.

If PSG want you , your not a bad player by any means. And as i said Lugano 2013 is not too far off from Lugano PSG

Aye. I think we'll do okay. We've been through this plenty of times against much harder teams. Fenerbache lost 3-0 to a newly promoted team last week. They've got home advantage so we'll see, really not sure. We should be beating them, we have players back that papers have reported missing. Only AOC is out, no excuses.

So were there 25,000 empty seats or was it a banning order or something?

No way PSV would have 5k at a home game unless something was ordered from UEFA

I heard Villa were robbed? Ivanovic should of been sent off, and then scored an offside goal, and Villa denied a late penalty?
 
My flatmate is well chuffed with the Arsenal win tonight. He's hoping this win will give the team a lift and some confidence back for their next League game.
We shall see.
