Anyone else get very vivid, semi-unpleasant dreams when withdrawing from amphetamines

The dreams are very clear and vivid, and while they're not nightmares, they're rather uneasy and not fun. They're usually about me trying to get something or achieve some goal and always coming close to getting it but never actually getting it despite trying really hard.

^Yup, I've had those dreams. They mostly consist of my limbs being suuuuuuper heavy and me trying to get somewhere but every movement takes the utmost effort, or I'll all of a sudden just start floating up in the air as if there was no gravity, only to be deposited even further away from where I was trying to go than before I started floating.

yes, quite often. i also hear music all the time when i dream/ either playing guitar or drums, or in front of the computer. melodies in my head, all this stuff. sometimes when i wake i can still hear them in hy head and i think its being played somewhere

That describes it perfectly! I don't remember dreams well so I can't think of any specific examples, but what you describe seems so familiar and I know I've had quite a few of those dreams.

I suppose I'd prefer them to horrifying nightmares, these dreams aren't at all frightening, I can't think of a good word for it besides they just suck. Especially because they feel like they drag on forever and you wake up to find out you've only been sleeping 20 minutes.

Oh lord, i have started to use my adhd adderall recreationally to avoid addiction and to retain positive effects, i hope i don't start getting bizzare dreams like that on my off days, but i did have multiple friends that would claim when withdrawing from like meth they would get very vivid and real dreams, sometimes they would shake in their sleep.

It's only bad after withdrawing after a long binge. By shaking in their sleep they probably mean hypnic(sp?) jumps. It means when you're about to fall asleep you get the sensation you're falling and you instantly wake up and 'jump'(similarly to if something startled you). That has less to do with amphetamines and more to do with sleep deprivation.

Actually although i've never withdrawn from anything, i have came to realize that whenever anyone is withdrawing from anything (heroin, meth, adderall, opiates etc etc) tend to get the awful dreams thing, my best friend would get night terrors for being addicted to alcohol and benzos even after a year of stopping. By shaking in their sleep i would mean similar to what my best friend would is like trying to fight something off or wake themself from what i'm guessing is a terrifying dream and twitching.

Lol, yeah i would always seem images of many many blue and white police car lights flashing right behind my eyes tormenting me and not allowing any sleep, but i guess thats a not a dream. Hell i would consider actually getting to sleep and being able to have a bad dream on that shit in the first place a major bonus.
