First time I used MDMA - Someone decided to play me like a puppet?

I was out clubbing last weekend, I had been drinking for a good 4 hours so was feeling pretty good about myself by that point.

Bought 500mg of MDMA Crystal from a chap in the club and halved it with my friend.

30 minutes later it kicked in and damm was it a good high, the music just exploded around me, I loved everyone in the club and they all loved me!


Turns out 90pc of people in there (Resident hardcore night) was on something or other.


Anyways long story short, about an hour into my high I started to get a bit paranoid and confused, my friends had went to the cashpoint and I was alone in the club.

I found a group of people in the corner just chilling and chatting so I went over and asked if any of them fancied going for a smoke and calming me down a bit.

One guy totally helped me out, just said 'Yoh, what you had?' 'Ohhh right...here's some chewing gum will help you out'

So I took his gum and joined the group....half hour and a good deal of banter went by, He offered me another piece of gum....different this time.



THE GUM - came in a black almost pill like foil packet with what I swear were skulls or something on it in white.

I took it in my mouth and within thirty seconds (Or what seemed that quick) the world exploded - I was tripping balls......I saw musical notes form the speakers - Felt the music all through me.

I found the urge to make a circle of bottles on the table and play them like an organ.....intense....so after enjoying myself for a few minutes they all said lets dance!

On the dance floor things were weird......The guy who gave me the 'Gum' twirled his finger around my hand and my hand followed him...he stopped...my hand kept going.

He made a sine Wave with his hands - I saw the ripple of the wave and my hand followed him....He could make me spin around just by twirling his fingers!

Things got weirder from there on...I have massive black patches in my memory, my phone felt incredible in my hand - I saw people calling me who...well....it was impossible that they would be calling me...


Massive black patch later and from what I can tell, an hour had passed...I'm outside the club (its just closing) I'm getting quized from two completely sober suspicious looking out of place people about what I took and just like that Im back to my plain old MDMA high.....the incredible feeling of running round in circles in a park on the way home.



But yes....What the heck was I given? Any ideas.

I have been having amazingly vivid dreams for the past two nights aswel if that helps :P
 
sounds like chewing gum. 250mg is quite a lot for a first time, half that or maybe even less would have been fine. MD is quite trippy in high doses, ive had full conversations with empty sofas, you probably just had a bit too much, or maybe not if you enjoyed it :)
 
I think you had a bit too much for a first time and the peeps you were dancing with were just helping you get the most out of it...

and yeah, very probably chewing gum, nothing will make you trip balls in 30seconds orally.

The appearance of the gum and the packaging was almost certainly in your head, if that was about the time things got trippy.

250mg is a good dose, i think thats the amount you need to get full and proper good effects anyway. All the effects you describe, visuals, blank patches, seemingly orchestrated dancing, it's all normal, and one of the joys of doing E at a decent party with likeminded people.

As a rule most illicit drugs are not packaged in neat professional wrappers. If you are lucky you get a baggy with a stamp on it. You had twice the advised dose and the different sensation from the gum just produced a nice synergy and you proceeded to trip balls on MDMA. I have had a similar experience on a snifter of baileys and ice
 
The gum and packaging being in my head is a good shout, I don't remember much about the situation other than the gum, in exceptional detail, yet I don't remember chewing it...or what it tasted like....

The night was incredible however....no-one told me about the possibility of tripping....amazingly intense.

Thoroughly enjoyed it, may have to do it again some time at a similar party!
 
250mg first time would make you totally fucked (unless your a silverback) without mystical trippy chewing gum. TBH that dose would ruin most new comers to mdma night...very hefty dose.

it's almost a fact.

you see the weirdest shit at high doses.

I know 250mg is high for a first dose, but he would have got FULL effects, well, he DID get full effects. Too many people underdose, or dose a weak pill, and end up wondering what all the fuss is about MDMA, or having to TRY to get the effects, or imagine they're having a brilliant time on MDMA when they're probably just having a good time.

This is why E exploded in the late 80's early 90's, cos pills had fuck-off doses in them, and people were wandering around in amazement at what a pill could do to you, and like, tripping balls and that.
 
Ayyeee most likely high dose - tripping your bean head off, some people dont think MDMA can but it does. Some converts to MDA at some point amirite.

Move to ED? He needs to be more responsible, and think about his imminent comedown/death.

This high doses of MDMA (or much more so MDA) can lead to the weirdest shit that is just so real (hyperreal;)) at the time.

When your not used to the effect it can make you more than a little paranoid, I talked endless people down from such a state, them being convinced of all kinds of crazy shite.

You sound like you had a good night, no harm came to you and despite you not remembering you were most likely had a reasonable level of control over what was going on.

Mrs A was reminiscing last night about the bloke with wheelbarrow she regularly saw whilst we were out partying, he was the marker a great night out:D

i really think talk of OP's imminent comedown/death is overreacting, and I'm not sending this to ED. If OP feels he needs "support" he can visit the Ecstasy Discussion forum and read all the (non) horror stories.

If he listens and acts on the advice there I doubt he'll ever have as much fun on MDMA again.
 
The events were on Friday, I've had a pretty long comedown I think, just starting to get back to normal, but it hasn't been bad at all....Felt pretty fresh on Saturday, no worse than a long night just drinking.

I've had crazily vivid dreams all week and a kind of out of body feeling constantly since although that started to go away today.

I thankfully remembered the name of a girl I met that night who has re-capped most of my blackout and hey, I was the life and soul of the club apparently, didn't do anything too bad.

I have regained a lot of faith in the kindness of strangers, they all pulled together when they found out it was my first time and they made it incredible.

I had a bad batch of paranoia for a while but I was talked down, next time maybe 100mg or even less will do the trick and maybe without the alcohol, but yeh, fantastic experience

The chap was selling it in quarter baggies so just presumed that was a viable amount hahah.....sensible 8(

Presumably a quarter baggie is 250mg? So if you split it with yer mate thats 125mg?

Or in real terms, what with dealer grams being more like 0.7g, somewhere closer to 80mg?

if you do do 100mg i guarantee your night won't be anywhere near as fantastic an experience as Friday was. You'll feel happy, but you won't feel part of the music, possibly (certainly) won't see such wacky shit or get involved with strangers on the same level....you'll be too aware of yourself.

Try it though, and report back. (but make sure you got another 150-200mg bomb handy in case you feel a bit let down by the come-upon 100mg)
